Any of these. Possibly James L. Hosay, but I don't know if he writes for movies. I just love the man's work, having debuted a couple of pieces by him in my lifetime, I think it would be cool.

Hans Zimmer's or Danny Elfman's styles just don't fit my day-to-day schedule. I'd have to take up some pretty extreme sports or sneaking around at night just to live up to my soundtrack.

Ninja'd on this, but Yoko Kanno. Her music for Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, and Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex is so evocative and emotional. I'm head over heels in love with it all.


Tsuneo Imahori also gets an honorary mention, because not only did he do trumpet solos for the Wolf's Rain soundtrack, but he did the music for Trigun. Some of those tracks are amazing.
