Although if mine did matter, it would be Jinx.
They would be sirens luring us into strange places, putting us to sleep, and sucking our souls out of our mouths.

But mine would have to be Aerodactyl. Come on, no where would be safe. They are flying hunks of rock with fangs.
how can you have a vaccine that protects your brain?

True. Maybe improve guns so that they can damage such things and invent vaccines so that they can't do that.

Engineer:Zap Cannon* at full capacity sir!
General:All right, knock those sons of bitches out the sky! I don't want to have to tell any of your families any bad news tonight.
(Psheeeew!)
Gunner: I got one sir!
General: Keep your eyes on the...

Or better still... think about Dark type pokemon.... EVIL I Tell's ya EVIL, or Celibi, I mean it a time travel pokemon, so unless it's exempt from the laws of physics or quantum mechanics, it whould most likely make the universe implode the very first time it did it's whole quantum leap thing

Unown. There is something quite unsettling about the way in which they make ýou uncertain of whether they are a force of nature or self-aware beings.

Imaging meeting a lion.
Now imagine meeting a lion THAT IS ON FIRE.
And now imagine a lion that is on fire THAT IS A DOG! That is Entei.

OT: Scyther. A giant ninja bug with Grim Reaper scythes for hands. No where is safe. NO WHERE.
Fixed.
Can't it learn hyper beam too?

Giant ninja bug with scythes for hands + hyper beam = I'm to damn scared to even think of something.

That electric bird from the first generation.
Can't remember name but a big lightning bird would scare me.

The dream-eating Pokemon would be one of the worst.

You fall asleep and wake up because you heard a noise. You open your eyes and a Pokemon is standing over you and you know, deep down, that it walked right into your room to eat your dreams.

What you're all forgetting is that if pokemon were real, we'd be living in a world accustomed to their and, unless we're making the assumption that they behave like real creatures instead of how they're portrayed on the show, there really isn't any reason we'd be afraid.
Even in the games there's still this fear of unknown Pokemon.

The Professors in the later games usually wind up getting attacked by wild Pokemon.
And there was that little girl in one of the games that was kidnapped by a Hypno.
And in another game a Drowzee kidnapped a baby Pokemon before sending you into the dreamworld of that Pokemon.

Absol is feared because people think that it causes disasters.

Let's not forget the episode where Tentacruel demolished a town.

And crazy Sabrina and her psychopathic Alakazam, the way they mercilessly threw Pikachu around and then tortured Ash and the others.

Even the people in the series are terrified of Pokemon. xDD

Then it evolves to have a nearly indestructible metal exoskeleton.

Charizard (did I spell that right? Last time I was interested in this I was 10) would be fucking scary.

IT'S A FUCKING DRAGON!

EDIT: Apparently, according to the weird text, this argument is invalid. Sorry for wasting your time, apparently my opinion doesn't matter.

I'm getting that as well

Weird

OT: I remember once a year ago in a blazing moment of nostalgia, I wrote down all the original (Red + Blue) pokemon, and then created a fake zooilogical journal about how they would work in real life and how their behaviours would carry across

I still have it on my computer somewhere, I may post it if you want
Post another thread, do it, i'm interested.

What would be the scariest Pokemon to run into if they were real?
Oh yeah I second that, Blastoist was my favorite pokemon of all time. It's sheer size and power would be enough to at least keep their opponents on high alert. Also, I'm not familiar with the newer Pokemon, I haven't been really interested in it since I was 11.

Gyarados would probably destroy the world's shipping trade, and for a nation that relies so heavily on its international business (The U.S.) that's probably the scariest thing.

Failing, I dunno, any of those stupid new generation Pokemon that can bend time and space and make the older generations look like pussies.
Yeah, but only stuff like Old Gen, that'd be cool.

Well, i know for a start Jessie and James would be in prison for stalking children.
James would be dead from having his head eaten by a poisonous fly-trap monster.
