If real life was an MMO? I would review it very poorly, because of the ridiculous learning curve, severe imbalance between players, and the fact that you can't design yourself as exactly how you want to be. This is probably one of the worst games ever made.

Or how many people will engage in PvP or lawPvP way before you're high enough level to even do anything about it.
Also, resting is ridiculous. 8 hours a day? Wtf. Why even program a REM cycle. I thought they would do something cool with prophetic dreams, but its mostly just disjointed images and sounds.
Diseases suck also. If I wanted to get screwed over by unspecific diseases that I don't really know anything about, I'd go boot up Morrowind or something. And one life is stupid as well. I need at least one playthrough to understand how the system works, so I can at least be somewhat competent on my second char.
Speaking of systems, could they have made the school and work systems any more boring? I mean, cripes, I'd even take a quick time event over what they've got now.

Best graphics on the market, best framerate and feedback to all five senses. Permanent latency of 0 makes the controls tight and responsive. No need for any hardware or peripherals to play. No invasive DRM and no need to pay for DLC and expansions. However, no new expansions have been released since the space exploration patch.

Single character limit sucks. I want to reroll a character with Musical Talent but I'm stuck with the first character I rolled when I had no idea about the game. Game is a 24/7 time investment with no option to ever log out. Leveling my Kanji skill is too grindy. World PvP is too risky because you only get one life. The community sucks.

Yes this, so much this, especially when you go and try and tweak your original presets, which is part of the aforementioned character creation problem.VanQ said:
Inventory suck! Pokects only hold one or two small items like a wallets and set of keys so if I want to have more inventory space I have to equip a bag which add more weight on me!
Also you can only loot from whatever you find on the ground or anything that you notice since you can't loot from dead/ slay things aswell!

The graphics are phenomenal but can't say that the game play holds up, especially the quests more variation would be nice. PVP should definitely be disabled as other players tend to be dicks but over all I say 6/10 even though like most MMO's these days I cant see this one lasting all that much longer than a couple more centuries.
The community is filled with trolls, pay-to-win is abundant in the transactions, the monthly fees are insanely high, it's realistic, the side missions and main quest line are mostly boring, levelling up takes too long, no respawns is a fatal flaw, limit to one character per player leaves no room for experimentation plus if I get bored with my current character I'm stuck with him.
Overall, a piss poor MMO that severely restricts freedom, with only a few playstyles allowing for a fun time.

PvP needs a major rebalance. The vast majority of high end weapons just ruin the game with massive terrain destruction, huge AOE, damage beyond the HP cap and creating large debuff zones that cause way too many issues.
Random events need toning down too, some areas get way too many negative ones (the Japan server for instance) while others go on the complete opposite and get things like "oil field" providing unfair advantages.
Levelling is another problem, I shouldn't have to spend 20 years grinding towards a specific target only to be told that what I've got is completely worthless due to a new update.

Also this, every patch, things are ruined forever. Some people won't shut up about how their way of playing it is better and the max levels are paranoid about anyone even coming close to the top level.VanQ said:
I know it's to be expected for MMOs, but sweet Christmas there's a lot of grind in this one. I mean, you need to work at one discipline for upwards of three years at university just to get a qualification in it. And then you need to grind for even more time before you start earning any money worth a damn. There's a lot of fun to be had once you've got through the grind, it's just a pity there's so much of it.
