It would be that people can be decent and reasonable on the internet. Also, captchas that are advertisements are even worse than regular commercials.

That there are forums with enough intelligent, well spoken people that I can exactly enjoy myself when reading through them.


Also something that I've learned from forums in general that sometimes happens here. People will target a whole group, for example casual gamers, PC gamers, hipsters, furries and label everyone in that category a douche and forget that in all those groups there are both douches and generally nice people, tough the douches tend to be louder.

That mass effect fans are really easy to piss off. Seriously, mention mass effect 3 and streamlining in the same fucking paragraph, and they're all like "OMG THEY'RE TURNING IT INTO A GENERIC DUMB HALO and/or GEARS OF WAR SHOOTER AND THEY'RE REMOVING EVERYTHING THAT EVER MADE IT COMPLEX GAAAAAAAAH!". Seriously people, there are what, two trailers out and because of a few mentions of streamlining you're ready to dismiss it as a gears of war clone? They're just shooting sections. It's not a big deal.

I would debate that that's mass effect fans. It sounds more like 'hardcore' gamers who liked mass effect for its complexity and are pissed that there is a chance that they might 'dumb it down'

Personally I've discovered that Ben Yahtzee Croshaw is the closest thing to god that definitively exists.
