each screen name creates a different house.

What's the capital city?
Google as it is the most visited site(Don't believe me type it in on your search engine)

And more importantly... Where do we Escapists fit in?
As citizens of a city of the coast of the continent that is the internet with the admins as it's rulers. Where the people of the main land can come and, what else, Escape from the daily life that is the internet. (Ha Ha puns)

The black market would be places lie bitTorrent and such. Anonymous is the council of this horrible dystopian land, where Google is the transit system, we are living on the outskirts considered terrorists of this place looking on in shame at what the world had become, /b/ runs the media, YouTube is the new Hollywood, except with more crap movies. The red light district is practically every corner. Teabagging the corpses of those who died in the street is not considered taboo as opposed to not doing it at all. And TV Tropes is almost like an archive of it all.

As an Escapist, I'm sitting on top of the mountain in our bastion of reason that overlooks this Internet world with a rifle and unlimited ammo (I activated the cheat), passing judgment and picking off trolls with a steady, practiced hand.

I'd say 60% of the total world population.

Heaven and hell; it's total anarchy and you only get caught for the worst of crimes (mass murder or something). While it's easy to rob someone, it's also quite possibly to be sought out and beat up in return.

What does it look like?
A piece of the world the size of america with one huge stinking metropolis in the middle and deserts, mountains and seas spread out at random across the rest of it. There's also a couple of uninhabited islands in these seas.

In the metropolis there's just a fuckload of HUGE flats. In the deserts it's tents, in the mountains there's some exquisite villa-neighbours and there's 17th century harbor towns near the seas.

What's the capital city?
Interville, the stinking polluted metropolis.

We are a bunch of cliché stuck up Brittish tea-drinking philosophers that sit cozily on an island in one of the seas, giggling over the people living in the horrible polluted metropolis.

As for where we as Escapists would fit in. We'd be a snooty group of nerdy looking people sniffing at passersby and being generally elitist.
Generalization... I don't think we are elite as individuals, just as a forum on the whole.
Actually, everyone from any forum would be. Just a thought.

How many people live there? many, many, many, many people

What's it like for crime? depends on which areas you go to, the troll lands, also known as 4chan are lawless and all who travel there forsake their souls.

What does it look like? fuck me, lot's of stuff, mostly different states with very different landscapes, Escapist Citadel is a haven for intelligence and beauty. Warcry town is a desert settlement, troll country is red and stained with the blood of lost sanity.

What's the housing like? In Escapist Citadel, all houses are glorious castles, there's an urban area for my traceur brethren, a fighting complex that caters to all combat style for our martial artists, a cathedral for Anarchemitis, many, many other areas to cater for the desires of all and of course there is a colossal gaming complex that hosts every console and game ever made.

What's the capital city? Escapist Citadel.

And more importantly... Where do we Escapists fit in? We are the kings and queens of the land, the shining beacon for intelligence, grammar and beauty. The mods reign as gods above us, Nil and Alex patrol the skies and smite the trolls and fanboys with banhammers of immeasurable power.

I'm pretty sure Dave Chapelle did a skit in which he illustrated exactly this. It was a pretty terrible place.
I saw that, it was hilarious. And gross.
