If you aren't, at any point were you ever a platform fanboy?

I used to love Sony. I mean the PS2 was an excellent console and it had a long and productive lifespan.

Then the PS3 was $800, and I was sad. I got a PSP, and was sad. But now I'm disappointed by the 3DS, so that means the PSV will be good right?

So I guess I have some faith that Sony won't mess up that many times in a row, and the PSV looks pretty good so far. (I'm really liking the android app support + wifi, and the overall design looks interesting enough)

I was once a big time Xbox fanboy who went mad insulting and mocking and berating PS3 owners to my heart's content.
These days I look back on that and realize how stupid that was. So I really don't care about whether my Xbox is better then the PS3 anymore and I'm happier for it.

*sigh*

Yeah.

Mac fanboy. Once upon a time.

I have since seen the error of my ways. I will still defend OSX, but a lot of other aspects of Macs really aren't defendable.

I'm pretty much a fanboy.

I am PC over Mac, although I think that's fully justified considering Macs are $700 too expensive and the only problems you every have with PC's are if you try to play video games (which you can't even do on Macs, for the most part (without turning it basically into a PC with emulators/a second OS))

Also Sony. The PS2 seemed to have a far better game choice than the Xbox, and there were more PS3 exclusive games that I wanted to play than 360 games (I don't want to buy both systems) so I stuck with Sony.

The older I get the more I realize that platform agnosticism is the only way to go if you want to enjoy every aspect of gaming.
Also we should be fanboys of games and not of platforms.

I was a huge Nintendo fan boy and wouldn't buy any other system except for Nintendo systems until I finally tried the PS2 in 2007 (I wasn't a very "hardcore" gamer prior to then).

I tried God of War on the PS2 which was my first "mature" experience and it really shocked me and opened my eyes. Since then I now own all current generation consoles and have consoles from previous generations.

And, the funny thing is now I don't even care about the 3DS or Nintendo's newly announced Wii U system.

I'm a Dreamcast fanboy, but only because the console was ahead of its time and provided experiences you couldn't get on anything else in 1999...

And if so, which console was it and which generation? Is there still a little bit of it inside you now?
Was a Nintendo fanboy until I realized the Playstation was miles better than the N64.
Then I was a Playstation Fanboy through most of the two past generations (although I owned a lot of other consoles)

Now a days I don't really care, each console has its positive and negative sides. I prefer playing most games on my PS3 due to liking the controller better (if the buttons are laid out correctly that is), wich means sometimes I prefer shooters on my 360. I really don't like the Wii, as I find motion controllers to be a pain to play with (And the graphics suck).

Lately though I have played my PC the most, mainly due to the fact that I am loving SC2 :D
