Yes. I would start working out a bit earlier, in anticipation of thyroid going out whack so the difference might have been even greater. I'd also probably force myself to just put on my big-girl pants and actually apply to colleges. Early, so the deadlines don't run out.

There was a girl who liked me in high school. I never had the balls to ask her out. A few years later I ran into her, we went out for coffee, and I said "If I'd asked you out when we were in high school..." and she said "I kept waiting for you to. You were too shy and I wasn't gonna ask you out myself because I thought you weren't interested."

So yeah. I suspect my adolescence would've gone better if I'd dated the cute girl.

No I wouldn't. I would stay where I am because every mistake and good choice I've made in the last 14 years has made me who I am and I don't particularly want to lose it. I wouldn't be any happier than I am right now and I don't want to take the chance of ruining my life with what-if decisions.
