Um... if I could go back (from 16, where I am now) to when I was about 10, but could still keep all the knowledge and mindset I've developed in those years, I'd do it without hesitation. If I had to completely revert to my 10 year old self, thoughts and all, there would be no point.

If I was given the /choice/ to go back to being sixteen, I just wouldn't do it. Plain and simple.

If I was /forced/ to go back... I'd probably break up with THAT GUY a hell of a lot sooner and move out of my parents' place a year earlier. Save myself the hassle.

Send a message saying 'Of course! Why would you think otherwise?!' to someone.
Become a good friend to someone that had some problems, who eventually killed himself over depression.
Save the money I spent on all the stupid stuff I bought back then for nice stuff now (such as shoes and stuff!)
Actually do work I was given and not slack off.

So I'm going back two years, well in that case, there isn't really anything I could do.

Suppose I made a few mistakes that year, that could be fixed, but other than that I really can't think of anything.

I'm not particularly interested in changing any particular event in my life (I've had some shitty moments, but nothing I'd classify as "must change!"). I'd probably do what I already did, but with far more sex and far less smoking. Maybe not be so late to chat up certain girls whilst in High School. The biggest thing I think I'd change is College, where I would get a different degree (maybe something in Business or Teaching). Maybe work a bit harder to keep my High School weight...

And I'd DEFINATELY start trading in stocks. And I'd probably call in an anonymous "threat" to the WTC an hour or so before the first plane hit, try to at least lessen the casualties. I'd do more, but chances are there'd be a Cassandra type effect, 9/11 would still occur, and I'd get lumped in as "The Mastermind Behind 9/11" or something.

Of course, if this were a Groundhog's Day effect (where I keep living from 16 to 28 all over again), I would educate myself to the point of achieving my maximum potential, and then harness the power of this temporal paradox to acheive apotheosis.

It always surprises me that I'm STILL not 16. Really, everytime people talk about age it comes to my mind "ooh, right... It's still x months til I'm 16" - not that I feel age matters very much to me.

If I went back two years I would demand to be moved to a different high school where once again I would not know a soul but anything would be better than my stupid high school that i went to which is probably the reason I didn't do clubs and extracurricular activities and such because it meant being around the people at my school for a longer time than I need to be so if I went to a better school then maybe I would have done more (though I highly doubt it). And also I would hope to NOT get in the car accident I got in last year at 17.

Not really to be honest. I would much rather go back to being 18 or 10 for different reasons I guess.

I would ask this one girl out. This girl that I have liked for several years (I am 17 right now and I have liked her since I first met her freshman year). Recently I learned that she liked me too but now she is in a relationship with someone else. Also, if I went out with her, then I would not have had a relationship with this one girl which I am still recovering from. So basically it would fix my life.

I wouldn't choose to go back to when I was sixteen, but if I was forced I would change things
first of all I wouldn't drop out of High School seeing as how much I regretted it 6 mouths down the line. I did end up going back to school and got my diploma (not a GED) but it was a huge pain in the ass and I didn't graduate till right after I turned 20 which sucks.

Yeah wasn't a great time at 16, during high school at least. Go back and get a hair cut? Tidy up my beard. Dunno what else, WONT pick Chemistry and Biology at A Level and find out a year later that I can't do them and then try to drop both of them but not be alowed due to most other courses being full up forcing you to do a 3rd year of college in order to get more decent A Levels to get to Uni. No deffinately wont do that.

Don't go out with her, and wait for 1-2 years for her instead.
That was my immediate response to this...
Yeah, that was my first thought, but I only met her 2 because shit went sideways with her 1. Dilemmas, dilemmas. :(
