Blackadder. I don't care if it doesn't work given the ending of the fourth series, goddammit I miss that quality of comedy.

Why would the ending of the fourth series stop a new one?
Each series is set in a different time period and Blackadder died at the end of the first and second series too.

Because it was so definitely an end and not done comedically at all. A sequel series would rob that of its impact somewhat.
