If you could bring one game character on an epic adventure, who would it be?

I am not really sure... all I know is it would have to be a bad guy, and he would have to have the power to destroy the world. Either that, or something like spyro but you don't want to know why I would want a little dragon around the place.

Yes it would.

However I am tempted to choose someone like the Prince from the first Prince of Persia just cuz he can rewind time, do a ton of acrobatic stuff and make some pretty good conversation.

Imagine how confused you would be in battle with the Prince rewinding time and you have to stab the same guy three different times.

True. Though he could save my ass by rewinding before I get stabbed. Though you are right re-stabbing a dude could be tough. But in real life it could be awesome. You still want to eat the Black Pepper Crab you just finished? Prince rewind! And now I eat it again.

I would take Joker (Mass Effect 2) If we have to drive a ship somewhere (because he's hot and smexy) Chris Redfield (Resident Evil 5) Because of his mucels, and yes, i know their not from a videogame, the Michaels from DoomsDay Arcade :]

Chris would die in the very first instance that required you to run and shoot.

Darn!! XD Ok...How about Baird from Gears of War to replace Chris?

As annoying as he is he is really good with tech so i'd say that's a good choice.

I'm going to have to go with either Captain Price from all CoD games made by IW or Yuna from FFX.

Captain Price because he's a general badass who defies even the passage of time, and unlike many other badasses mentioned in this thread, has a side that's not made of grit and angst.

Yuna because she can summon aeons, is excellent with guns, and she's not so hard on the eyes either.
