Dragon Age 2.

Took an amazing first game, and asked the question, what if it was easier, and nothing happened.
It's the second game in a trilogy, it's point is to set up the link between the first game and the third one.
Look at The Empire Strikes Back, arguably the most popular Star Wars movie, nothing happens. Luke goes to train but doesn't get much into it, Han get captured, and the overall plot, between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance, doesn't get advanced at all. It's just how the second in a trilogy usually works.

I think I'd like to see a well done third L4D game to make up for l4d2.
Nothing was wrong with Left for Dead 2.

On Topic: a Resident Evil in the fashion of the first three, which are the greatest of them all to me anyways.
Incorrect. L4D2 was never as good a game as L4D. On paper it should have been better, and there were some improvements to the mechanics of the game, but in experience it just never stacked up to the first game.
Experience? As in what happened to you in the game? If so thats a matter of opinion and you stated it as if it were hard fact, and that is no real evidence at all.

Finishing Legacy of Kain and finding out the fate of Kain and Raziel would be a good thing, Tony Jay or no Tony Jay. (We love his work as the Elder God and such, but it's time to end the series.)

Making a Resurrection remake of MediEvil 2 would also be highly awesome, or even a new game where someone takes advantage of Zarok's old time machine (not seen in MediEvil Resurrection) and that you actually have to team up with a zombie-version of your arch-nemesis.

Most importantly, giving us a damn sequel to SKIES OF ARCADIA would make tons of money for whoever did it, assuming it was done with the same care as they did the first game.
I was remembering that Raziel become Kain's sword on LoK 5, where he sacrificed himself to give Kain the power to fight against the god... the question maybe and now? What happen to Kain?

[But I still want Raziel to come back...]
Well, if I were a betting man, I would say that...having been shown the truth of not just the vampire heritage, but of all of Nosgoth, Kain would be trying to find some information on what the Elder God actually is. Perhaps only the long-dead can know, or even that the Hylden might have a clue. In this, he'd try to discern the way in which to rid Nosgoth of his being somehow.

As for Raziel, I have a thought on that. You see, at first he could be exploring whatever realm lies inside the blade and knowing what it knows. Whereas I do feel that the Elder God would manipulate the Hylden to stop Kain using Janos Audren's body. Janos created the Soul Reaver. Likely, he knows how to do things to it, such as cast Raziel out of it somehow. It is...possible.

ah yes, the old opinion argument. It always amuses me how someone who's "provided no real evidence at all" when stating their own opinion, (nothing is wrong with l4d2) can then try to turn and tell someone else that their opinion is less valid because this person's arbitrary requirement for "evidence" (lol) hasn't been met.

As far as experience, not what happened to me in the game. What happened to me in the game was I dominated until I decided I didn't enjoy it as much as the first game and went back to the superior L4D.

By experience, I mean the whole aesthetic, the whole feel of the game. It lost the horror movie feel that made L4D stand out from other shooters of the time. The only mission that retained any of the horror feel of the first game was Hard Rain. The new cast of survivors were not as good. The new uncommon zombies added virtually nothing to the game. The additional melee was straight out of half-life and an unnecessary addition to the game. The removal of infected scoring was not an improvement. The game had an unpolished and rushed feel to it, probably due to the hasty release after the smashing success of the first game.

So there some "evidence". You'll come back and make noise about how its not proof, but nothing ever is. We're both talking opinion, and I don't expect you to change yours. I suggest you kindly realize you'll similarly not convince me that l4d2 is superior to L4D.

Its my opinion that valve lost its way on l4d2 a little after breaking with Turtle Rock Studio when L4D was done. It would be nice to see them bring some more polish to any new Left4 game.
I see your point, but I wasn't really out to say one is superior to the other, as I feel that both are about the same.
Also, because you say that they removed infected scoring, I'm guessing you played it a long time ago, as they have it back.

F-Zero, Starfox and Kid Icarus. With the latter two, I'm not referring to the upcoming DS titles, one of which is a remake of a lesser sequel and the other, not true to the original in terms of gameplay. I want a new Starfox that has more in common with the original than the other games, and a 3D Kid Icarus action platformer.

...can't wait to collect my first paycheck from my new job so I can pick up a used copy of F-Zero GX for the 'cube.

WTF Bethesda, No hand to hand?
I have played EVERY one of there RPG titles as a hand to hand fighter to date. Now I don't even.....
I thought they were saying that there would be no specific hand-to-hand skill, but you'd still be able to punch people.

Presumably it would be directly tied to your strength and agility.

Still, that's just my interpretation; I think it would be stupid to take out hitting people. It's just so... basic.

On a more realistic scale, Persona 5. Oh gods, Perosna 5.
Its in the works, and they'll supposedly be making one for the DS as well.

OT: hm... maybe SMT: Nocturne?
Really? I hope they remake it but only add things instead of also taking things away like the Persona 3 PSP remake did. It's still good, but Persona 3 Portable took out the cutscenes and replaced them with in game graphics, replaced actual character models with portraits, instead of running around in a 3-D world outside of Tartarus it's more of a point and click game (which since the PSP is more than capable of completely 3-D games, is obviously just lazyness on the developer's part). If they didn't fix the 2 things that annoyed me most about Persona 3 FES, the AI controlled Party members and removed the tiredness system for the most part, I would have considered it inferior to it's originals.

Remakes should NEVER take anything away from the original product, only add things. A good example is Final Fantasy 4 DS, it was even better than the original because it's story and battle system were more or less the same, but they improved on both the dialoge and graphics, and even added in a new game plus feature.

Now, if only they could do what they did with FF4 DS to all of the other 2-D Final Fantasy games I would be happy for a while, what's keeping them?

Kingdom Hearts

We...want... Kingdom Hearts... 3!

Oh, and Star Fox too,

I mean come on! How long has it been since a new Star Fox game?
I definitely agree, I'm really getting tired of all bridging games and prequels that the Kingdom Hearts series has been doing to milk us with because they can't think of a way to continue the series, they wrote themselves into one hell of a corner it seems.

They also defintely need a Star Fox sequel, a rail shooter that's just as good if not better than Star Fox 64. They have yet to even match SF64, not to mention exceed it, at least as a starship shooter, Star Fox Adventures was pretty good.

I would love to see another Splatterhouse. Same cast, same team. The first one got a lot of crap because of some rough edges but i had a lot of fun with the combat and i looooved Jim Cummings as the terror mask. I think another game would give them the chance to work out the issues of the first and come up with somthing truely awsome.

I'll cast a vote for a Starfox sequel. I mean, if they took Starfox Armada and fixed the problems it had perhaps we'd have one that would rival Starfox 64.

Also, a Megaman Legends sequel that is on a damn console!

Say what you will, but I'm getting sick and tired of seeing announcements for sequels to past games I loved and see "exclusively on the DS" slapped at the end.

Space Invaders. What happens after mankind manages to counter the aliens nefarious strategy of "Drop down, increase speed, reverse direction?"

...Which one it would be? And why?

For me I would a new soul reaver. Hell, no kain please I'm asking to the re-coming of Raziel. To the because... I dunno, I simply loved the LoK saga more then GoW, as I find Raziel why cooler than many "heroes", I like is hating soul to survive, and is lack of morality talk when it come to split a human being in half. Or the lack of splitting a human being in half while crying for is dead wife and lil daughter...
Firstly, I just want to say that you're a fool. First off, there wouldn't BE any Soul Reaver games if it wasn't for Kain... he's kind of integral to the storyline. Secondly, have you actually played (or watched) LoK - Defiance? I won't say too much just in case you haven't, but there's no way they could make another game revolving around Raziel.
I don't think they could even do a reboot of the series it was that good.

Anyway, OT:
If we're talking a sequel to a previously loved game that never got a sequel, definitely gotta go for Skies of Arcadia.
If you mean taking a terrible sequel, destroying it and making an awesome sequel in its place, Breath of Fire V. Seriously, it destroyed the series because it was so utterly terrible and far-fetched from the previous 4 games.
