If you could feel pain would you still play?

I'm sorry, but have you ever actually been stabbed, or shot for that matter? i don't know how they would manage to simulate getting stabbed considering you probably wont feel it, not for a few hours at least. And when you start to feel the pain it just hurts like you wouldn't believe.
The game I've been playing lately involves BASE jumping, and therefore, breaking all your bones. I'm gonna go with no thanks. Maybe a little jolt of pain in an FPS would be useful, but not in all games. Besides, what about games like Super Mario Brothers? How would you calculate pain for that?
Yes!! How pissed would you be if you shot me in the head, chest, and stabbed me. Yet I still get up to snap your neck?
And yes. I have an unusual resistance to pain. My friends still don't know how I was able to walk on a shattered knee for 4 days before going to the doctor after I noticed the swelling (more like my mother noticing and dragging me to the doctors).

Depends, if the pain does not actually physically hurt me (much.)
Like once I finish gaming for an hour, I don't want to stand up, look down, and see I have bruises all over me. Perhaps it would be best if it was plugged directly into my nerves somehow, to give me the impression that I am actually in the game without actually getting hurt.
It would be an enjoyable experience! Making for a fun game! Whenever you shoot a guy you just KNOW that he's getting pain

No. That would suck. maybe if there was a slight shock to where it was so you'd feel the realism, but otherwise no. grenades would be interesting, though...

So long as it wouldn't kill me then by all means keep it at me feeling 100% of it. It'd probably be more fun (this coming from a guy who enjoys pain) straight up to the point some asshole shoots you in the balls a few times.
yes that would kick ass dude. just wear sensors on your body and if you get hit a buzz would play and a vibration would be felt on your skin from that area and once thet area is hit deciding on where it is you may or may not be able to use it again like for example if you get shot in the shoulder and it hits a certain muscle that lets you lift your arm then no your [insert side of arm shot] wouldnt move and your whole arm woudl vibrate telling you that its inactive until death and once you die from a shot or stab your body woudl vibrate and your screen would go black adn you can watch from your buddies eyes after wards. if they did it this way then hell yea i woudl do it. even if pain was involved to a extent i woudl try it for i am a true gammer and i will try any game once and then give my judgement on set game
