The need to breathe Oxygen (or any gas at all) If I didn't need to breathe, I could travel to many places without fear of suffocation or drowning.

exercise! while i still get healthy! that'd be awesome!
wouldnt call it a bodily function, and i dont do it every day....

so to be on the safe side i'll say Breathing. it'd be nice not to ever have breathing/hiccups/sleeping problems again due to it!

Not having to sleep without going crazy/dying/getting tired sounds the best. Think of all the stuff I could not do with all that extra time.

The ability to grow my hair. My short hair will stay short forever! I would also be saving some cash not going to the the barber anymore and those awkward chit chat (I'm the silent type).

Yeah, a whole three or four days before the heart gives out to exhaustion. But if you make it past that marker, then you have insanity to look forward to as your brain starts dying.
Well, the assumption was that you could give this up without dying or going insane, otherwise what would be the point of the post?

I'd go for sleep, just to be original. If we could do without sleep, it would leave more hours in the day to do...whatever it is you would want to do with an extra 8 or so hours in the day. Plus, you would save money on things like beds, alarm clocks and the like.

Funny, I've on occassion talked to people about what it might be like if we could do without sleep, something to which they always respond "oh, but we need sleep, you couldn't do without that"!

Seems the same has occured in this topic, they seem to totally miss the part where you said the scenario was that you just didn't need sleep, full stop.

It's 50/50 between not having to sleep and not having to shave. 'cause not only do I hate shaving my face, I'm metrosexual enough to hate shaving elsewhere too.

And if I didn't need to sleep I could get so much done, and no tiredness for me.

Flipping the Fable 3 coin thingy has lead me to decide not shaving.

Menstruating. I can't believe no one's brought that up yet! I would definitely do without it (and all its other things - cramps, bloating, etc.) if I could.

ETA: No, wait, I guess I'm not TOO shocked no one's said this yet. Know your audience and all that.

there's nothing worse than a hiccuper.
My respiratory system. If you didn't have to breathe imagine how easy diving would be.

I'm sure that almost all teenagers reading this thread are yelling 'ACNE' right now.

For me, probably itching. It's unnecessary and annoying

I've got a feeling somebody doesn't get the point in this thread..

OT: I clicked on the thread thinking - eating - Food is fucking expensive
Then i saw - sleeping - which is like living for an extra third of your life.
And then - breathing - i would love the feeling of just swimming underwater with no need for air. (This would also be considering my lungs would not explode at low depths due to high pressure) otherwise id have to stay closer to surface.

Also i think fatigue would be great to give up.

So many choices!
Think ill just get rid of that pesky sleeping business.

Never needing to shit would be awesome, as would never sweating.

This of course carries the caveat that no harm would come to me for giving up either.

Vomiting. I hate when I get sick and my stomach feels like it's being crushed until I finally throw up so that my teeth burn, my throat hurts, and then I do it again five minutes later.

Well, so far every single comment is solid gold.
Of course considering that WE WOULD DIE without one...i would say body air. it's unnecesary and gross looking.

the possibility of getting appendicitis. the fact I have a potential time bomb in my stomach does not sit well with me.

PS: yes, its a bodily function! its something your body CAN do right?!
