I would go without sleeping, think of all the extra time you would have.
Yeah, a whole three or four days before the heart gives out to exhaustion. But if you make it past that marker, then you have insanity to look forward to as your brain starts dying.
Isn't the point of "not having to do it" that you could get by without it?

OT: Sleep for me too. Would like an extra 6-7 hours in my day.

I'm assuming that in these hypothetical scenarios, giving up these bodily functions does not have a negative side. There is just no need to do it.

Sweating, as long as giving it up didn't harm me in anyway
Well you'd have a shitload of excess water built up in your system.

OT: I'd give up only air breathing, IE I'd like it to where I can breathe under water AND on land. That would be fucking awesome.
Surely you'd just urinate the excess water? Or am i thinking too logically? :p

On a completely different and unrelated subject, did i just get an advert in my Captcha box? Fucking seriously?

Cells aging is a bodily function so that if I could pick anything, not dying would be pretty cool for me.

If that one is out of the question though then I would have to say sleep, imagine how much more we humans could achieve if we didn't have to sleep.

Sweating. UGH.

The rest of them I wouldn't do without. Periods, pooing, weeing... all great ways of assessing the health of your body and providing you with early warning signs when something is amiss. I suppose I've spent too long on hospital wards not to come to appreciate what a great indicator of health they are.

but sleeping is like one giant hallucinogenic trip you experience every single night! Nah, I want that.

I think blocked noses, get rid of that. Constant clear breathing, and no need for disgusting blowing :)

If there were no repercussions, I would give up the need to use the restroom. Let's just assume for pleasantness' sake that the waste is magic'd out of me.

Otherwise, I say sleeping. I'd miss out on dreams, but the sheer amount of extra time I'd gain is worth it in my opinion. And there's always daydreaming.

I had to think about this for a minute, I'll admit I was tempted by some of those thoughts. However, I have to say that I wouldn't choose to give up any of it.

It's all part of the endlessly fascinating experience of being human.
That, sir was a brilliant response and I have to say I completely agree with it.

They are all part of our experience and all peculiarly enjoyable at times: at night I often resent needing to sleep when I want to stay up and do something else, but in the morning having slept well makes you feel awesome.
