Are their any good bands with a good stage show anymore?
Nine Inch Nails has an awesome show live. See them if you can.
They did a show at the old "Q" Arena in Cleveland not too long ago, If they roll abck into town I might see them.

Have they gotten over blowing-shit up on-stage yet?

I don't know, From what I've heard they've always had problems with the "Q" back when it was the Gund Arena.

They? I'm pretty sure Reznor is the only member of that band. The other guys on stage are just there to play the tracks he is unable to on stage.

Metallica, Master of Puppets/...And Justice For All/One/I Disappear/Enter Sandman. If they ever do a show near me for their new album Death Magnetic I will be so going.
Sure if you have $200 for a cheap seat.

Myself I would check out the hardcore punk scene. No particular band in mind, as long as the Bad Brains aren't reggae yet.

Eh.. Mine's not going way back, but I would have loved to have seen Nightwish when they were in Australia for their last tour with Tarja. ;.;

Jimi Hendrix, though since I've never used drugs, if I actually made it back in time to see him perform, I'd probably be missing out on something by being sober.

Johnny Cash, though, is another big one. I wish I could've seen him live.

And, sadly, I will probably never see Bob Dylan, but if I could, I'd go back to the mid-60s, before he got WAY huge and was still playing in dives in Greenwich Village for "a dollar a day."

The REAL soul and spirit of Metallica died the night when Cliff Burton died on that icy road in Sweden. RIP Cliffy, RIP.

Led Zeppelin for sure. Along with Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath (now-a-days, Ozzy is a drugged up mess). And maybe Less Than Jake before they began sucking around 2000. (I know they latter band isn't dead/on hiatus, but I would like to have seen an older show.)

Me too. I add Metallica to my list during the days when the "Master of Puppets" tour really took off. Why do the great ones have to die?

Great ones such as DimeBag, Kurt Cobain, Cliff Burton, Jimi Hendrix the list is long and will no doubt keep growing :(
