Who would that be? The only rule is one character per franchise/game.

My first choice would be Chie. She is my favorite female character, she's very funny, entertaining, and she would be a very good person to talk with. Although knowing her eating habits I'd be afraid to see a bill.

My second choice would be Ryogo from Front Mission 3. He's very funny and easy-going guy so his presence would really lighten up a mood.

And my last choice is probably Lili from Tekken. Sure, she is very snobby and rich girl, but I think she might enjoy some time with usual people and provide some contrast to our conversations.

So, what about you guys?

Dandelion from the Witcher series would be fun. His humor and his ego might make for some fun situations, especially with number two.

Javik from Mass Effect would make a fun addition to the dinner. His personality would clash quite well with Dandelion.

Lastly Rammus from League. Because I can't think of a third, and I think having an mutant armadillo saying "yep", "alright", and "okay" while the other two are fighting might be good for some laughs.

Phoenix Wright from the Ace Attorney series. He is my favorite video game character of all time, and I've always wanted to just sit down with him and have a beer (or maybe some grape juice) Plus he gets a lot of heavy stuff dumped on him all the time. I'm sure he'd appreciate just a casual meal out with friends.

Joe from Devil Survivor 2. Mostly because he's the closest we've gotten to a MegaTen character that more or less acts like I do. We're both fans of comics, food, sleep, and joking around. I'm sure we'd get along nicely.

and lastly...Cooking Mama from Cooking Mama...because I think she's kinda hot and sweet and I'd use the group setting as an excuse to get to know her better and maybe ask her out. She's always cooking. I'd love to cook for her one night.

Well let's see here:

Vivi from Final Fantasy IX. Yeah, he's kinda shy, but I'm sure he would have plenty to talk about if he feels comfortable.

Naked Snake/Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3. If his conversations with Para Medic and EVA seem to indicate anything, it's that he doesn't seem to know a lot about stuff that isn't about guns, fighting techniques and the like, so it would probably be interesting exchanging bits of conversation about various things with him.

Laharl from Disgaea. His personality would definitely clash with Vivi, and it would be kinda funny to see how things would turn out between the two. So long as it doesn't involve my house getting destroyed.

Hmmm... Kleiner from Half Life series cause he seems smart and I would like to know more about how to make portals. Portals would be sweet. He also seems rather humorous at times, whether intentional or not.
Veronica was the first name that I could think of that comes to mind, from Fallout new vegas. But I feel if canon also carries over, the conversations would be kinda awkward since I forgotten a lot about the Fallout universe.
...and I can't think of a third one. I'll come back to it later. I thought Mr. House for awhile, but rules restrict me :c

Terra Branford from Final Fantasy VI, Chihiro from Persona 3 (hopefully I won't intimidate her too much), and that's all I can think of at the moment. I love the shy, quite girls.

The Kid from Bastion - He will eat quietly while Rucks narrates the whole meal in great detail with his gravely voice from the ether. It shall be swell.

Tyrant Valvatorez from Disgaea 4 - This one's easy to feed. Guy loves sardines, so just get a truckload of those and he will thank me for delivering a marvelous meal worth a tyrant's praise.

The Prince from Katamari - He doesn't eat much, and when we're finished eating, he can roll up the leftovers with his ball and shove it in the fridge for later. Fucking perfect.

Agreed, I could see myself talking to her. At a good fashioned American Steak House.
Buuut, It might be interesting talking to the Persona 4 protagonist (Yu Narukami in the anime). He could teach me a lot of things.

Then there is my Fallout 3/NV (In my mind they are the same person), it won't be chaotic since he wouldn't be scared of this world. He is too smart and would be intrigued instead.

And then there is the Protagonist/Boss/President of the Saint Row series.
That would be seriously cool. :D

Sheogorath from the Elder scrolls since I would enjoy his brand of madness, also Cheese for everyone.
Kefka from Final Fantasy VI since he is quite intelligent and utterly insane and was one of the only characters to actually destroy the world and I always wondered what that would be like.
Giovanni from the original Pokemon games since I wonder if I was the bad guy stopping him from trying to save the world.

Maxim from Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals, Rallen from Spectrobes, and Pit from Kid Icarus Uprising. What an odd as hell mix o.o Might be interesting that way though!

Abe from Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee for the entertainment of watching someone with a stitched up mouth eat.

Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 for the appetizing puns and one-liners. Also his pension for carriyng chicken eggs.

And the Capra Demon from Dark Souls just to spice things up, and to cut the meat.

Tifa Lockhart from FF7. One of my longest gaming crushes. Not that I'd expect it to go anywhere. *Whistful sigh*

Motoko Kusanagi (She was in atleast 2 games, 1 on psx whre you played a rookie Fuchikoma pilot, and a standalone complex era game on ps2, so shaddap!!! :p) because I admire her a great deal for damn near everything, and I wanna get hooked up with her body model. XD

Number 3... uhm... hrm... I'll have to think about that.

Frank West because I think he would have interesting stories to tell.

Three-Dog from Fallout 3 because listening to his smooth dulcet tones over a meal while he regaled us with tales of the Wasteland would be a great way to spend an evening.

And finally, Doctor Halsey from Halo. So she could recount the tale of stealing children via her clandestine shadow organization.

EDIT: Oh, and if one of my guests didn't R.S.V.P. or bailed on me, I'd replace them with the Dragonborn from Skyrim. Because it would be fun to watch him order desert. "Cheees... CAKE!!!" then the wait staff goes flying.

Tiny Tina, FemHawke and Mitsuru Kirijo. Tiny Tina cause she is awesome, FemHawke because she is probably my favorite Bioware character and Mitsuru because she is basically the one woman from a video game I would want to marry. I love me some Mitsuru.

1. Kreia from KoTOR 2. I'd get into long, entertaining debates with her on morality and general philosophy.

2. Vaas from Far Cry 3, just to see what lulz and awesomeness might ensue.

3. Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank, just to ask him why he let himself be bullied around by most everyone and their grandma in his first 3 games when he had an arsenal powerful enough to blow up a battle cruiser and was resilient enough to withstand some serious nastiness.
