If you could have any game in HD, what game would you want?

It might be said a million times, but I'll say Final Fantasy 7, 8 or 9. 7 I'd say needs it more than the other two, having such primitive character models by comparison. Don't get me wrong I love FF7. The character models could just stand to have work done on them to bring them at least up to par.

I dont understand why more old sprite-based games dont get HD ports. it can't be THAT difficult to replace all the art assets from these games with HD graphics. and hoo boy, i dont think i could turn down a single one of them.

game companies are sitting on a GOLDMINE of old content just waiting for a fresh new coat of HD paint, all they need to do is cash in.

i admit some of these games in HD would be a little strange looking, but i'd still buy them

Hell to the yes! KotOR 1 in glorious HD would make my day. I'd also like them to bump up the frame rate too, but I'm sure if they were to do an HD remake that'd probably something they do as well.

Kingdom Hearts - the whole lot of the series. I'd be so very happy if this came true.

This is ridiculous! Kingdom Hearts is waaaaay too recent for an update. At least God of war was jagged as fuck when they remade them. Even so, silly. That's like saying FFXII needs an HD remake.

Final Fantasy X and VIII the most. VII would be awesome. XII would be nice and they wouldn't really need to do much to get it looking good as I've seen it emulated at HD resolution and it looks fantastic.

The Curse of Monkey Island would be awesome in HD. Keep everything the same but, just make it output at a HD resolution and it would be awesome.

FFX, maybe. VIII I hate to pieces, so I can't give an unbiased vote. I DO want an excuse to buy XII again, but it doesn't need it.

Final Fantasy VI.

The game is amazing. Too many people who call themselves RPG fans never played it. It's arguably the best Final Fantasy ever made. Maybe even the best JRPG.

Remade it with FF 13 graphics and voice acting. Don't change the battle system at all. Only the animation's are different. Maybe make the last-resort special attacks more common.

I DO want an excuse to buy XII again, but it doesn't need it.

Actually XII really needs a HD update, much more than X. The fact that XII runs in a lower resolution than SD, makes it look absolutely terrible in any large tv like my parents. To play it with it looking bearable I have to run it on an older smaller CRT TV. In comparison, while X isn't as detailed, it does at least run in full SD resolution so it actually looks a lot better than XII when running on a large TV.
