The Lexx at his peak. Undead who do my bidding. A living starship that does my bidding eats planets and is a superweapon. Down side is any form of incorse and I lose my ship. Meh I'll make up for it with brutal dictatorship.

Here a link for some not in the know and yes I know it looks like a dragonfly

I'd have one that would actually work properly in real space, rather than these hacked-together, handwaved abominations which everybody else seems to pick. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.100198#1554585]

With that in mind, I suppose it would have to be Discovery One from 2001: A Space Odyssey, because it's one of the only fictional spacecraft that actually conforms to real rules of spacecraft design. None of this handwaving nonsense (well, apart from stylistic elimination of the massive cooling fins that it should have, but considering how far ahead of the realism curve it is, I'll give it that one exception for free).

Things like the Death Star are clearly stupid (have you ever wondered why they had to have a whole load of exhaust ports?), and most of your choices would fight like actual naval ships, as in, inappropriately for exoatmospheric conditions.
*moans like a little child* Meeeeeh but it's so duuuuuull and HAL wants to kiiiiill you. The real world suuuucks!

PS: Just thought of another one: the Heart of Gold from The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy. Get anywhere you like in an instant, all it needs is a wee bit of improbability.

I think it would be a cross between oblivion, left 4 dead and the Nazi zombies in CoD:WaW

t night you have to be in the city and defend it or help out other people and in the day you get quests that tend to send you beyond the city walls to look around outside, getting equipment and supplies excreta

The more weapons you get the more people you can have guarding the walls so less of a job for you

The supplies would be things like food and crafting materials, say part of the wall gets breached then you will have to defend it and then when its day time repair the wall or at least put a wooden barricade over it until you can repair it properly

Moya, the Leviathan from Farscape :D

Of course, that having been said A Battlestar (specifically the Galactica) would be awesome as would the USS Defiant (NX-74205) from Deep Space Nine.
