I want the freaking death star and then I will build actual steel fences around my external ship openings and a shield generator on the star itself not on a another planet!

hahahah you rebel scum, now I blow up you planet *goes insane*

Didn't the deathstar need that hole to operate? Didn't it vent dangerous heat that could otherwise compromise the entire station?

Ragnarok from Final Fantasy 8. Seriously, what an awesome vessel.

Also, get your "reality" out of my escapism, damn it (RAKtheUndead)

I'd want the biggest, fastest, most deadly weapon wise, most well-armoured, best manned ship imaginable.

Also, playing FO3 but haven't gotten to Mothership Zeta yet, first play through with the DLC. But I bet I'd want that.

The Death Star.

But I'd put force fields around the exhaust ports (and the ship like before), but the field would be powered ON the ship and I would put nuke launchers on every square inch that isn't already taken up by the giant planet-destroying space laser. I'd also put a giant rocket thing on it so it could have more mobility. If anything actually gets onto the ship, I have more defense, but instead of stormtroopers, I have Chuck Norris standing at the entrance. And it will all be in perpetual motion (F*** you physics!). All I need now is a suit that's as badass as Vader's.

Probably an Eldar Forgeworld from warhammer 40k. Who doesnt want a fully operational society with powerful defences living happily on your mechanical planet? (also you get your own Avatar to call on... good times)

Millenium Falcon, no question.

It made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, y'know.
isn't parsec a unit of length, not time? (y'know)

anyway, I would go for the USS Excelsior, the first excelsior class ship, and under captain Zulu =)

Oh come on, the best one to have is obviously the planet-killing machine that is the Death Star! If we can't choose that for the obvious reasons then Serenity wouldn't be too bad. It might be a pile of junk, but that Firefly-class boat is the most well-loved pile of junk in the whole 'verse...

That's actually been explained in some book or something. A parsec is a unit of distance, but in Star Wars the Kessel Run is some gauntlet of asteroids and planets and all sorts of crazy space junk, and the 12 parsec run that Han Solo made is the shortest distance that anybody has ever used in finding a route through. Which is how he managed to outrun the Star Destroyers that were chasing him. There are different routes through the Kessel Run and he found the shortest. So what he says in the original film is actually accurate and correct, in context :).
