Pure and simple, to be able to manipulate the composition of substances from the subatomic level up to the compound level. Lots of potential there.

Edit: Blast it appears I'd have competition. Oh well, maybe we can form our own research corporation. :)
The potential is immense. I would gladly form a research group. Superhero scientists FTW. Who needs the LHC when you can split quarks with your mind!

Gotta go with the feminine version of Wolverine (aka X-23). Somethin' about a metal clawed killing machine that is so damn appealing.

Time manipulation.

Stop time to steal or rob, or just read a book. Learn a new language, or invent one.

Slow time to save a person from harm, or put a person who deserves it in harms way.

Rewind to spend more time with those I love, or to excel at school in areas that I had "time" to study.( See what I did there?)

Fast Forward to see what will happen, prepare for it, and make sure that if it does come to pass I will take it with the best possible results as an outcome.

I'd go with the power to turn intangible no one could touch me literally. Or the power to go into people and control them "Overshadow" them

I want the ability to make brick walls appear out of thin air.

Someone disrespecting the rules of the road? BAM! Somebody running at you brandishing a rolling pin? BRICK WALL! Somebody keeps breaking down your front door? Substitute it with an insta-BRICK WALL!

Being able to stop time is great too, something I've been thinking over ever since I saw Clockstoppers in fourth grade.

I would go with flight/teleportation. If everyone had that power, there'd be no need for planes, trains, and automobiles. Except we still need John Candy and Steve Martin to make that movie...

I'm going to say...

I don't know actually. Probably just the exact powers of Raven from the Teen Titans cartoon. Shapeshifting into a raven, flight, magical energy beams, telekinesis, dark frickin' magic.

Yeah, I'm sticking with that answer.

Pausing time. Definitely. Too bad stuff would look all curved because of that relativity thing.

I would definitely want the ability to control gravity. Think about it. By manipulating space-time, I could fly, throw entire galaxies at each other, and even create black holes. There is nothing more badass than creating a black hole to suck in your enemies.

Some form of control over sound. Partially to shut out noise, but more to make music current instruments can't. Also, shutting people up when they're at a concert or movie would be the greatest possible joy. Plus, that guy with sound powers in Pretear was pretty awesome (and hot).

Night/Thermal vision without the use of goggles and with the ability to control it.
Can't see how that can go wrong.

Sure it's a pretty unoriginal idea. But it's still damn fun!
