I've heard of a martial art move where you hit someone in just the right way in the pressure point on the top of their head and suddenly they're paralyzed and will sometimes suffer brain and nerve damage if left untreated.
I've heard that it exists and it sounds plausible, but it kinda makes my BS detectors get all excited and such.
On the chance that that move is in fact real, then my next choice would be the Vulcan Neck Pinch.

Seikuken, from the a manga called History's Strongest Disciple. It's a technique to nullify and counter any attack that comes within one's arm radius.
I dunno I remember one of the splinter cell games sam like grabs a guy by the wrists throws him and mid throw disarms and it basically ends with him on the ground with a broken arm and a gun in his face. Wouldn't it be awesome some guy tries to mug you bam he is writhing in pain and you have a shiny new gun.
