I ALMOST said 40k, but then I remembered that actually it's a terrible place. At the beginning of all the novels it's described as the most brutal regime imaginable, and the Imperium is the good guys. So I'm going to have to say Warhammer 30K, or actually 29K as I'd hate to be caught up in the Horus Heresy. Before the great Heresy the Emperor was walking about and kicking ass, and I would be less likely to be executed for Heresy by trying to overclock my Cogitator.Ranthus said:

Heh I must be more peaceful than most of you guys... I would have picked Harvest Moon. Peaceful, easy life, where everyone is just falling over themselves to help you out.

I can't believe this thread reached the second page without anyone mentioning Discworld. Of course, you need to be a wizard/witch to have all the fun, chat with Death and have awesome parties at the Unseen University.
Close second for me would be... any cyberpunk world in which people don't die like animals, really. It's like the real world, but with more internet (and sometimes magic).

Mainly because I would be living on a cool tropical island where I could soak up the rays and if I had a boat I could go fishing anytime I want.
