The harry potter universe if I got to be a wizard, as stated above, mostly to use the accio spell on pretty much everything. Never again will I have to stand up to retrieve pants! Everything would be so easy. Someone pissing you off? Bam! Levitate them and throw them into a wall. Steak taking too long on the barby? Bam! Magic!

Star Wars universe, only if I could be a Jedi. I'd probably misuse my powers a bit - telekinesis has endless possibilities :p

I'd like to live in Dr. Braun's simulation in Fallout 3. Of course, I would be in control of what the simulation is, and unlike Braun, I could terminate my own life from inside it for when I got bored.

It would have to be Mass Effect.

Set in a time when humans are still finding their feet on the galactic stage, all the politics and intrigue in the Mass Effect universe is so much more interesting than modern politics :p

I'd like to be some kind of researcher mercenary person, going out and finding interesting stuff and bringing it back to colonies for research. Kind of like what Liara does. An interesting life, but with the occasional bit of risk to liven things up.

Plus life would be so awesome on the Citadel with all their crazy night clubs and gang wars. In fact working for C-Sec would be pretty cool too.

the DCU. A world where pretty much anyone who wants superpowers can find a way to get em. I'm sold.

Either The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, or Kingdom Hearts, because they're both crossovers of tons of different media. Ideally I'd live in a universe that was a cross of all fiction, as an Oblivion-protagonist-type character (i.e. me, but able to do all the cool stuff and go anywhere like the Oblivion guy/girl does). Now that would be awesome...

The universe of the night angel trilogy. Sure, half the population would probably kick my arse for the hell of it, but it would still be awesome.

any rpg, MMO, J... any... just not turn based ofc...
as long as it set in either the past, and a past style environment... because... guns ruin everything... because i have a fascination with melee weapons of all kinds really... i even practise my own game-esque fighting style... (you know... the kind that doesnt work in real life what so ever... lol) which... has made my arms assymetrical >:/

anyway... health bars aswell...
how brilliant would it be if your 'health' could be so easily depicted, health and displayed in one bar?
imagine being like... a doctor or something lol... plus the idea that drinking stuff can cure wounds... it would be nice to just have an instant fix like that...

but the main thing... the absolute best thing... is that... you can decide what you look like... what your bodies like... my body and my mind are polar opposites lol... to the point were i cant really be anything id actually like to be irl... thats why i still play games to this day...
2 of the main reasons that im failing at life right now... (dont know what i wanna do... aaand to busy wasting time to care about stuff i dont really want to do anyway.. you know..?)

so ideally... id say... a kind of fable MMO style game... no main characters... (thats obviously important, noone wants to be an npc...) and where your physical traits actually matter... (gnome warriors = wtf?) swords etc... (though 2 has guns... lets pretend that game never existed...) and a great deal of customisation...
that would be perfect... so long as lionhead arent making it...

Mass Effect. The fashion, the guns, the architecture, the ships, the planets; that game's universe contains so much coolness.

Plus on Outset Island there is even is an extra house which no one lives in, so I won't have to worry about building a house
Dude, you get an island with a house, your own butler and a pool, complete with lawn chair and fruity drinks, and everything, or did you not do that side quest?
Dang, I had forgotten about that island. I admit though it has been awhile since I played the Wind Waker and yeah I did that sidequest.

Also AmrasCalmacil, I don't remember Wind Waker having any redeads in it, I only thought that Orcarina of Time had them.

EDIT: I actually looked it up and yeah there are redeads in it, I just hadn't got that far in the game but I still think that the ones in Orcarina of Time are creepier.

Yeah, I know how nerdy that sounds, but
1) you never need to worry about being poor
2) they have the best health care system imaginable
3) you can explore strange new worlds
4) they have cool shit in space!
I was going to say the Code Geass universe, but it's defiantly this ^. Nothing beats Star Trek.

The UFP can suck my giant blue Twi'lek balls. Corrupt ignorant sheltered socialist fucking hippies.

Anywho, if I could live in any fictional universe, I'd live in the Star Wars universe during the reign of the Galactic Empire and, later, the Imperial Remnant. I'd also love to be a Twi'lek.
