Just a thought which crossed my mind while watching 'Pleasantville', which is set in an idyllic 1950's suburb and I though to myself this is where I would live if I could be anywhere. If only it were possible...

Well...

I loved the atmosphere and eerie feeling from Shadow of the colossus. I don't want to fight any humongous giant, but I think I would love to endlessly ride a white horse in the world it depicts.

I would love to live in the world of Star Trek.

Yeah, I know how nerdy that sounds, but
1) you never need to worry about being poor
2) they have the best health care system imaginable
3) you can explore strange new worlds
4) they have cool shit in space!

Harry Potter.

I'm serious. Anyone else brought up on the books? They made my childhood.

Hell.
It looks fucking awesome.

Being a demon, possessing shit, being immortal and all that jazz.

Tough one. Personally, I think it would be fun to live in the Harry Potter universe. Sure, it's cliche, but it would still be fun to learn magic spells and meet Snape and his monotone voice.

Edit: Ninja'd again! Man, this has been happening a lot lately.

Probably the KOTOR II universe, so I can hang around with the Exile, Kriea, and HK.
Wouldn't hang around with Kriea, spooky *****, just me an HK cruising the galaxy, maybe Mandalore.

No just remembered me, HK and Atton (my favourite) cruising the Galaxy.

Me. I used to crave that life when I was younger. I'd give anything to be able to attend Hogwarts and Quidditch World Cups.

Fallout. As long as I am either a main character or a required character, that way I can't die. Plus, what's more fun than hunting down mutants with a sniper rifle in the ruins of DC?
Being a member of the Enclave in the wasteland, with a realistic ending where Paladins with assault rifles don't kill Enclave Soldiers.

Fallout because I hate the way the world is running right now. I would be with my 3 best friends and we would go on Super Duper Mart runs. Maybe if we hit a cap mine we would establish our own city and overshadow Three dog's radio station with our Heavy Metal Forever station, we would put on Metallica, Maiden and the sort and would welcome every headbanger ghoul or not.

I still crave it now....I get a wierd feeling after I've read one of the books, or the movies, like now.

Except of course that type of music doesn;t exist in the Fallout world, only old style jazz and big band. The best kind of music.

No, indeed. There is nothing but you and your horse, surrounded by a strange yet appeasing feeling of solitude. You need to play that game to see what I mean, and you should, it is the best game I ever played.
