I think it depends what kind of Shepherd. If he has powerful biotic powers, maybe. As a regular guy, he doesn't really have anything to match the Voice.Misterian said:

Young Solid Snake vs Commander Shepard
It's snake form MGS2 but the gets the bodysuit from MGS4, its my Shepard so default male Shepard but he will be a solider class to make it fair and he gets his n7 armor.
Imma go with snake, if it's hand to hand. But if ranged weapons come into play ill give it to Shepard.
Then if vehicles are brought into play, imma say metal gear solid rex vs a Mako then imma go with rex.

My Cyber Berserker from Too Human vs Kratos. Baldur is probably one of the few characters on par with Kratos in terms of proficiency with melee weapons. Everything considered, they have about the same level of resiliency, equally powerful magic, and similar abilities, but Baldur more tricks up his sleeve and Kratos can deflect attacks and deal more damage with rage of sparda. The fight would be extremely close, with no determinable winner until the end.
Both start 50 feet away
Baldur use a laser cannon to knock off 15% of Kratos HP before Kratos closes the distance.
Baldur then launches a fierce blast attack which Kratos deflects back hitting Baldur for 20% of his health.
Baldur activates his battle cry to boost his melee, deploys his spider and sentient weapon, and Kratos activates rage of sparta.
Both charge in for the kill, Baldur's spider explodes near Kratos for light damage, the sentient weapon attacks Kratos's flank, but when Baldur gets close, Kratos pushes him back with army of sparta.
With kratos now at 60% HP and Baldur at 50%, Baldur pops a ruiner sending Kratos back minus 30% HP. Baldur strikes Kratos which Kratos deflects and counters for 25% damage. baldur's sentient weapon then stabs kratos in the back while Baldur knocks Kratos into the air. Kratos slams into the ground with the weapon still in him. leaving both at at 15% HP. Kratos pulls the blade out of himself and throws it at Baldur which he dodges. Baldur then pulls out the laser cannon while Kratos pulls out Apollo's Bow. Kratos gets 1 shot off before Baulder uses the sec. fire to unleash a massive laser blast and finish off Kratos for good or at least for the time being. The winner is Baldur with 10% HP remaining.
