Commercials are awesome, what the heck? They enable you to watch shows without having to pay for them individually. I'd MUCH rather live in a world where the show breaks to show an annoying ad every now and again than a universe where I must pay, specifically, for any show I wish to see. Television, radio, and webcomics as we know them would cease to exist!
Stupid people? That's what you'd get rid of? Man, haven't you guys read Hitchhiker's guide? You send all the useless telephone receiver cleaners into space, and shortly thereafter your whole society dies off ironically from a disease spread through telephone receivers.
What you SHOULD be getting rid of is "stupidity," if you want to go that route.
THING I WOULD GET RID OF FOREVER:
Does "the need to sleep" count as a thing? I don't want to get rid of sleep, just the necessity; it'd be awesome to be able to stay up for a week straight with no caffeine if you really needed to.
(I suppose "the need to eat and drink" would also be nice along the same vein, and prevent starvation and all. But it's finals week for me, I'm sort of feeling this sleep thing)
