I'd make a game about an obese, balding, middle aged electrician. The concept being that this guy comes into possession of a nuclear arming key by a freak accident. A Brazilian crime syndicate breaks into his apartment minutes after he discovers the key and by yet another freak incident he manages to kill both of them. He electrocutes one of them using a wall socket and a spool of wire he had for a project of his own and shoots the other one in the collar-bone with the first guys gun. Right after that he calls the police leading to a cinematic where he finds out he is suspect in the murder of three of his neighbors, realizing that he has been framed he breaks away from the police and finally gets away, this is where the game would really start. The thing that I would want to do in the game is to make it as realistic as possible, there would be no HUD and no ammo counter you would have to count the bullets if you had a revolver. Also this guy would not be able to hit anything with a gun past 12 yards, as the situation becomes tense his aim would become more shaky. He wouldn't be able to run for very far, and if he over-exerts himself he might start seeing spots and feel faint, if you continue to over exert him for long periods he might have a heart attack, this is where medication would start to be of great use to the main character, he'd need something to steady his nerves, keep his ticker to an even tempo, maybe even an adrenaline shot. You'd have to stitch up wounds and they would cause realistic hindrances. Obviously a bullet in the wrong place would be game over and it is; the game would be divided into a different number of checkpoints based on difficulty; after every enemy you kill it would auto save during a slow-motion replay of the bullet hitting the enemy. Also no eight shot enemies, you'd probably only have to hit em once as long as you get a torso, head shot or major limb hit, of course a winning shot is difficult because he's not a marine. He'd also have his bag of tools which you can use to disrupt electrical inputs and outputs in all the buildings, vehicles, streetlamps etc. During the course of the game you'd eventually get access to firearms and other such things that a crime syndicate would have lying around, Heroin, probably explosives. The plot line would of course have to have many different options. If you have the opportunity to walk away into anonymity you will get the choice, kinda like way of the samurai, except fat and bald.

I have a couple ideas. One is a game where you have X number of tanks, infantry, etc. and they're at one end of the screen. At the other end of the screen, there would be five times more enemy tanks than on your end. Both teams of tanks would be controlled by AI. What would you do? You have total control of the terrain. You can make mountains, valleys, trees, and weather. If you yourself (not a tank) kill an enemy, then it respawns. You would have to rig the ground and change it so that your tanks would win.
As you got farther and farther along the game, you would get more and more power. The final level would be one supertank of yours, against an army. Your reward for winning is sandbox mode.

Another game would be set in a world where security has been tightened to the point of no return. You would be a guy who finds a ragdoll that gives him mental powers. You fight in stealth or otherwise through the gaurds.
Halfway through you would find out that the ragdoll that gives you the power to fight is using you as a pupper to do something for it. You would have to decide what you want to do. Do you stay and fight, getting it's goals finished, or try and fight on your own.
As a side affect, using the ragdoll makes you invulnerable. But the ragdoll isn't. However, the more it's damaged the better powers you have access to. A fine line is between getting more powerful and closer to losing it and death. You could cut yourself to damage it, but you have no idea how much damage it will do.

Tell me how to improve these games.

Like everyone else it seems, I'd love to see a good RTS-FPS game. I'd probably want far less RTS than most though. My RTS would just be world-map strategy (do you take the shipping route and leave your homeland undefended, or play it safe and move more slowly along land), and then base design, attack plans etc. Maybe a quick switch back to RTS mode occasionally just to re-evaluate the plan. Once that's complete, move to your standard FPS game, but with small unit style control as well (like the better Rainbow Six games, not "stand in your road and get shot" AI like most others).

Random idea I had the other day - Music label CEO. Control who is the "hottest new thing." Absolutely everything would have widespread effects. You can play it major label style, and just push low-grade copies of whatever is popular at that point, selling reasonably well. Or you can mix it up, go indie, and take a chance on an original group being the next best thing - but with a much higher failure rate. You can also control every aspect of your existing artist's behaviour. Wild behaviour - wrecking hotel rooms, sleeping with groupies, drugs, etc - gets publicity and boosts morale. Too much and you lose support thanks to conservative groups, or at the extreme can even kill your artist with an overdose or AIDs. Underground support builds confidence in your label, mainstream support gets the cash flow. For albums you can let your new artists ride the coat-tails of exisiting ones, with things like support spots on tour and feature spots on albums. Again, balance is everything, as they can also lower respect for an artist and the quality of the music. Then just for good measure I'd throw in a secret - killing some artists is better in the long run than letting them live (think Kurt Cobain, 2Pac, Elvis). Would never happen, but its just fun to think about.

Lastly, I'd like to see a terrorist game somewhere in style between the Hitman series and Rainbow Six. Many different options available, from go in guns blazing to make it look like an accident. Take the credit yourself to push your cause, or blame it on someone else to avoid the heat. Each option has consequences for your long-term success, and your future "missions." Pre-mission planning would also be important as well. Quite easy to come across passion blinded youths who'll do anything for your cause, but they're relatively useless in missions. Train them to raise their abilities, but you lose a few as the nature of the task sets in. Training and purchasing more devastating weapons will also bring more attention from government agencies and rival factions. It would be extremely interesting, particularly to see if you could design a formula for how the low morale and distrust of the higher power moves out, and how disinformation and propaganda, in addition to exposing existing negative elements of the government, can heavily effect that movement. The whole aim would be to turn the entire country on itself and destroy the government. Could perhaps even have a few post-dictatorship final missions where you can choose to put your own puppets in power, or turn it over the people and ensure that the "good" guys win.
Of course it would cop a lot of heat by being a "terrorist simulator", so to reduce that it would need to be in an unnamed dystopian future rather than the U.S. or any other existing country with terrorist issues. Maybe based in "its not really" England for that V for Vendetta feel, or a "what if the Nazis had won" 21st century version 2.0.

Some kind of instagib/kill fps, somewhat like TF2, but with all weapons doing double damage and spewing out 10 times as many bullets (rocketshotgun for soldier, dual minigun for heavy, triple running speed and double falme reach and napalm effect for pyro, double speed and heavy assault rifle for scout, 12 shots grenade launcher and partially inviible proxymines for demoman, autosniper with super fast chargeup for sniper, medigun that heals yourself for medic, up to 4 sentrys for engi, instant cloak/disguise and fast stabbin speed with (rare)frontstabs and dual pistol for spy)

Man, that was like the longest bracket ever!

I'd probably create something nased on becoming a Space Marine in the Warhammer 40K universe; I'd probably call it Adeptus Astartes or something because I'm unoriginal. It would be set in a third person perspective, because space marines are meant to be able to excel at ranged and close combat. I'd also try to cram as many different styles of gameplay as you went up the ranks, eg. flying into combat as an assault marine, squad control and target prioritisation as a devastator sergeant.

Look, if I want a game where I get to kill crazed chaos cultists by crushing their ribcage with my foot, then I can dream about it.

Necromancer, a third person shooter with rpg elements about a master of the black arts with a sordid past that hes ashamed of and trying to make up for. Setting a really dark and gritty mideival world with really horrid, disgusting, depraved demons. Sexually depraved demons with really graphic images (both in-game and in cut scenes) of them doing..........things. Weapons like a wand that shoots balls of poison and a dagger made of bone. Abilities include raising the dead and temporarily cursing or enslaving enemies.

Well, since everyone and their grandmother has made a vampire game, how about a game following the vampires arch-nemesis, the werewolf.

picture this, as a young yad (as all these types of games have to start off), you're bitten by a werewolf, thus gaining the curse.
fast-forward 22 years (gotta be 22 years, any less and you risk you're character not being old enough, any more and he turns into the token old guy that alwas dies in the end).
Some evil demon has made it so every night becomes a full moon, thus unleashing the werewolves and generally turning the planet into a giant blood orgy.

Now you, for one reason or another (does it realy matter at this point?), retain your human mind when you turn. So, it falls down to you to kill the demon, slaughter about a bazillion of your own kind (throw in some cops, innocent people, and crazy farmers with shotguns to boot), and save the world in a never before seen pile of ass-kickery and cliches.

Oh, and make sure you get the girl at the end in a way that makes room for a sequel, such as her smiling when you hug her at the end and revealing vampire teeth or somthing.
about that last bit.....been watching Underworld a little too often?

If there's anything more to be done with WW2, I'd like to see a WW2 Action-Adventure in line with Where Eagles Dare or The Guns of Navaronne. Hopefully Sabatour or that other one where you play a female assassin fit this mold.

EDIT: It would also be huge and open-ended. Enslaving enemies would be like a curse that makes them do a specific thing like fight whatever comes near them (at lower levels) and at higher levels give you a little menu with different things you can tell them to do like go to a certain place, use a certain ability, and attack a certain enemy, like in an RTS game.
This little menu of commands also exists for your undead minions. How to make that work on a console, maybe have the slave commands in a menu when you pause.

I'd like to make a game titled "A day in the life of Wacky: The wacking baseball bat"

It would be a point and click adventure about a wise cracking baseball bat that is the main choice of weapon for a successful mob hit man.
That's just strange. Funny, though.

An original FPS game. The genre desperately needs it. The main weapons would be a turret and a remote mine launcher, and, as opposed to killing everyone on sight, you would have to avoid getting caught. The game would take place on an island. The story? Your character, a Ukranian hitman, has been tasked with killing the entire staff of a large, island-based drug operation, but about halfway through, the operation goes awry when your senses betray you, as does your boss, who turns out to be the leader of an Austrailian terrorist organization bent on starting an apocalyptic nuclear war and using the island as an arms storage facility.
Why Ukranian? Because, to my knowledge, there aren't any Ukranian videogame protagonists.

I've changed my mind. It would be a 3rd person game with 1st person elements. When you do special moves. The camera shifts to the first person perspective of the bat. The screen would hurtle towards the enemies, skull, arm, leg, crotch, whatever. The screen would then retract with a wise crack from the bat and blood covering the UI and screen.
even stranger, and still even funnier
