Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Mass Effect 3
Batman: Arkham City
The absolute essential new games this year that I can't wait to play. The other games can wait and I can be content with the games that I have at the moment, since I have a ways to wait for these games to come out.
I'm assuming that by 3 games you mean 3 games that are are coming out in 2011? If that is the case then I choose:
(1) Batman Arkham City\ Infamous 2: One of those two because I played on both games and they were really fun. They both also had a really good over arching story.
(2)Pokemon White version: I would have this because you just can't go wrong with pokemon.
(3) Knights of the Old Republic: Mostly because I'll have some much fun being a bounty hunter and back stabbing everyone. That and it will be just the KOTOR on the PC however it will be never ending (hopefully).
Extra: I would have put Dragon Age 2 on this list, however I haven't played any other dragon age game, I'm still waiting for Dragon Age orgins to come in the mail. And there is really no point in playing 2 when I haven't played the first. I would also get Portal 2 however the first one was over in 4 overs. So it wouldn't last me the year.

2. Mass Effect 3
3. Ummm... not decided yet? Seriously, there's a few games that look interesting, but not interesting enough for me to buy when I might just watch a Let's Play on youtube... And the game I REALLY want is for PSP (which I do not have)... Damn you SEGA for making Valkyria Chronicles 3 a PSP exclusive! It was bad enough missing out on VC 2!
The Old Republic. (it's still coming out this year right?)
Arkham City
Mass Effect 3.
Thankfully, I'm a grown man with a decent job, so i'm not limited to 3...
I'll also be getting
Pokemon White or Black, or both. *shrug* Got to catch them all right?
Earth Defence Force 2.
...
That's about it. Maybe only 5 games this year. Huh. A well, if TOR is any good, like i'm hoping it is, i prolly won't need many other games for a good long while. Here's hoping.
