I'd be really suspicous of anyone who picked Ditto, but that's only because of the changes brought in by Gold/Silver

I'd pick any that would allow me to teleport, so that I could go where I wanted and it'd be small so it wouldn't be too hard to look after, any pokemon that fits that description, I'm not fussy.
