OT: Real life, I wouldn't want anything that could eat me when it becomes an adult, so I'd have to say maybe a Falcon if I could train it right, that'd be pretty cool.

Fantasy: A dragon of course... I know it defeats the reality reasoning but that's why it's fantasy.

I unfortunately don't have a tiger but one day... one day.

There are few animals I would not be willing to raise given the knowledge and tools to do it properly, although predators tend to be far more interesting in the long run than most prey animals.

A few favorites:
any Great Cat, Bengal Tiger or Panther in particular
Wolves, Timber Wolves in particular
Foxes
Otters
Bats
Horses
Bears
Monkeys
Apes
Dolphins
Ravens
Elephants

Out of fantasy:
Drakonian species, from full on dragons to wyverns and fire-lizards
Jegget, small empathic creature, somewhat similar to a hyper intelligent squirrel.
Dire Wolves
Phoenix

If I had to choose a real animal; a small, agile bird of prey would be awesome. That being a Hawk, Buzzard or Owl.

In Fantasy; a Phoenix or a Dragonling (small dragon, about 5 foot wide)

I would choose tiger as the real animal. I really like cats and a tiger is a badass larger version. If I had raised it from birth, it would hopefully not be hostile towards me at least.

I would choose an Abra as fantasy animal. Who doesn't want a pokemon after all? It would evolve into kadabra and alakazam as it got older.

Too difficult. Got even more difficult the further I got down the thread. Pretty much every mammal is on the list and a few birds.

InB4 other brony get to say it.
Either a pegasus, Unicorn or the combination of both an Alicorn (so then it can fly and use magic). (No point in saying an Earth pony since that what a pony is.) While you think I'm referring to the shows which is true but I fine taking a more realistic version aswell (can't talk and look more like a real horse/ pony anyway).

Non brony aside I would love to raise either a seaturtle (but I would need a large pool), Komodo Dragon (but its bacteria would killed me) or maybe a chameleon (safe bet).

Well I've finally started reading Game of Thrones, so Direwolf is an obvious choice... However, I've always wanted a falcon, and I suppose a baby would help me with my slight issue I have with birds which is stopping me from getting one for falconry.

I blame the pigeons which live in our town. Damn thugs...
