None. Why? I like music, not people. Why would I mix something great with something mediocre?

And yes, Rise Against are great.

one live band?

What about Elvis as lead singer, Chris Farley on Drums, Phil Hartman on Bass, with Michael Jackson on the Wii Guitar Hero Controller Midi Interface ?

Pink Floyd.

I mean, really. I'd love to see a show by them.
Same here. I've often times got upset that I was not in my twenties when they were starting out. I would never go to another show in my life if I could see just one gig by them.

Totally fixed that for you.

Metallica, but only if James doesn't sing stuff like Master of Puppets like a camp druggie(see S&M version of the song to see what i mean.)
I saw them back when they were promoting St. Anger. They put on one helluva show! James was in pretty good voice, if I remember correctly.

In response to the topic, I'd really like to see one of Mushroomhead's annual "old school" shows. I've seen a couple bootleg clips on YouTube, and it looks like those shows have a fun burlesque vibe to them.

They were the first band I saw live. It was really great, I especially loved how energetic Tim was on stage.

Well I've already seen my favourite band live - and it was f*cking awesome! - but I didn't get to talk to them so I'll say Strung Out (again). (Hence the avatar - people need to hear of this band more.)

Though I would love to have had a chance to see Good Riddance when they were still together.

Soundgarden (man I hate the new Chris Cornell stuff...)
Motorhead would be awesome to have a chat with.
Soilwork / Children of Bodom for the hell of it.

Stabbing Westward. I could ask them why their last album was such a disappointment and if it led to their breakup.

Motorhead, or Black Sabbath.

I would settle for Judas Priest though.
Motorhead was the first gig I went to, it was their 30[sup]th[/sup] Anniversary Tour in Southampton Guild Hall - and it was & still is one of the best I've seen - my ears were ringing for the next two days. I must admit that at the time I hadn't heard much of their music, I only went because it was Motorhead, though since (and probably because) then I have got more into them - I'm not a huge fan (of metal in general) but they do have a good sound & a great live act.

Coheed and Cambria. I'm dying to see them, and I'd love the chance to tell Claudio in person how awesome his hair is.
I saw them play at Roundhouse. Kinda lame cos Claudio didn't speak to the crowd at all, only the bass player did.
In fact claudio looked like he didn't want to be there :(

Lynyrd Skynyrd, back in the old days.
Lynyrd Skynyrd would be awesome, I'd love to hear some of their songs played live :D
Mr Banker, Simple Man, Free Bird. That would be so rad!

I'd probably have to go with Devin Townsend... or Opeth... Or the Doors... Or Dire Straits... orrrr... hmmm... I can see where this is going :|

The original line-up of Guns n' Roses for me. I'd try to talk afterwards but I'd probably be too busy trying to hug Slash or something.

Man, I wish I was, like, twenty years older so I could've seen Queen in all their glory. Frddie Mercury would've been absolutely mazing to hear and see in the flesh.

I"m surprised no one has said The Beatles yet.

I would say either that or Nine Inch Nails, just to meet Trent Reznor.
