Id like to be at the fall of the Berlin wall, it was basically a giant citywide party and if like to take a hunk home as evidence.

The creation of the universe - I would take a camera as well and take pictures, though i doubt anyone would believe me that i took a picture of the Big Bang, they would just think i was THAT good at Photoshop lol.
come on everyone knows that was a ship

personally it's hard to say

i'd go talk to jesus for a bit
go visit the groove wear people
go back a bit further in time like 50k years to see what was going on then

the death of Hitler just to see how it actually happened

either that or

the fall of the berlin wall

dammit i was born too late
Definitely the Hitler thing. I haven't read up on a biography of him, but what was it? Hanging? Poisoning? Decapitation? Death by tickling? Actually, I have some other choices:

-Beginning of the Universe
-End of the Universe
-Cretaceous Period (to see a T-Rex, and to get a sample of it's blood for cloning...Oh, God, it'd be Jurassic Park!)
-First spam E-mail being sent. I'd bring me a knife.
-End of the creation of Assasin's Creed. I'd bring me a box of tissues. What? I f_cking love the game.

Where would you watch the creation of the universe from?

Fall of the Berlin wall would be fantastic...

Since when were Muslims not civilised? They've contributed more to the progress of human civilisation than anyone else on the planet.
Like what?

Muslims where some of the best mathematicians the ancient world ever had.

Well, given that the small invention of "The Wheel" was made in Mesopotamia, which is modern day Iraq : quite a bit.

Erm, a little thing called glass.

Although having said that, both Glass and the Wheel pre-date Islam, so maybe it should be the Middle East rather than Muslims specifically.

Not possible: it's turtles all the way down, or, to be more accurate, slightly lighter shades of grey.

Personally it's not an event I'd die to see but a person I'd want to meet: George Orwell.

But if I had to choose an event (and while so many battles fascinate me I think I'd lose the fascination seeing them up close) it'd be Woodstock. Must have been bangin'. Or rad. Or whatever the kids said in those days.
Seeing the Berlin Wall falling would be nice, too, or-even better- the victory of Solidarnosc [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solidarnosc].

There was the point that the Arabs were the middlemen between the Western Traders and the Chinese Taoists, and that without them; gunpowder, silk, the rudder, paper and the compass would have taken far longer to exist in the Western world.

Perhaps never without the usage of the lodestone.

Don't forget they helped the europeans catch up on hundreds of years of medicine. Besides, the romans or the greeks weren't alot more civilised by our standards.

I would go back in time and shake Gary Gygax's hand. (Or whatever he was named, can't remember.)
