I'd invest $600,000 of it in sound stocks and investments, and donate $200,000 to various charities. With the $200,000 left over, I'd waste a couple thousand on pleasure items (computer, fancy car [but not too fancy; like a BMW, not a Lamborghini], iPhone) and with whatever money I have left over (in the range of $75,000 to $125,000), I'd use it to make people do embarassing or painful things for me. Like if a telemarketer called me at dinner, I'd pay him a couple thousand to beat himself up. And at the airport, I'd pay scrawny people to carry me. I'd wear a shirt with a handle. I'd say it builds character.

First: I'd pay my way through school and get a P.H.D. in bioengineering.

On the side, I'd go to tech school and learn how to find my way around a machine shop.

Also, I would buy a huge chunk of land out in the middle of nowhere, probably in Montana or the like where you can get a good 640 acres for $180,000 or so in places.

I'd spend the rest to build a tricked out house/bioengineering lab/machine shop on said chunk of land.
