I'd just try and teach my kids the meaning of happiness. I don't care if they're not genius' or world beating athletes so long as they do what makes them happy.

Yup just try to teach them to be happy and try to instill some good manners and common sense in them and make sure they know that i will always approve of what path they take unless it's something really illegal

hmmm im too carefree to be a good parent... but if i had to raise one, i suppose to be like me, in terms of not being self centered and not being so self consiouce, make him a better speller than me for sure, and i would have to try and raise him like my friends parents raised him (they were strict but nice) he turned out really good

I would try to present them as many opportunities as possible to develop talents at a young age (Teaching them how to play chess, how to play an Instrument, a martial art, showing them books, going to gymnastics or some other sport) until they find something they have a passion for.

Because the youger you discover your passion, the more chance you'll have of profiting off of it when you're older. And when your job is your passion, life is good.
