I would make sure they exercise often and have a healthy diet. Buy a punching bag and gloves and teach them to box, get a dog and have them take it for a walk, etc. If they rarely want to eat McDonalds, Pizza, etc., then I know I'm on the right track.
I would encourage them to get jobs as soon as they're old enough. I would do this by not buying them things like games, movies, cellphones, etc. with occasional exceptions (ie., birthdays). That way, the idea of earning and saving money would be instilled in them at a young age.
I would also teach them how to cook at a young age (just basic stuff, as I'm no chef myself).

That is a damn good way to raise your kids. I wish I had discovered my passion (martial arts), when I was younger, and not when I was 18.zeroharpuia said:I would try to present them as many opportunities as possible to develop talents at a young age (Teaching them how to play chess, how to play an Instrument, a martial art, showing them books, going to gymnastics or some other sport) until they find something they have a passion for.
Because the youger you discover your passion, the more chance you'll have of profiting off of it when you're older. And when your job is your passion, life is good.
