Some of the earlier posts in this thread our confusing. I guess some of the avatars have changed overtime or I simply lost track of which post I was reading from.
Anyway, what would I do with Death if he (or she, or even it) tied up in my basement. Well okay having them tied up sounds creepy however in this case it drastically improves my chances of living. Unless he escapes and then I'm so doomed. So in order to save my own hide I would keep him down there, maybe converse with him from a distance, behind a barricade.
Also considering death is needed to prevent life from overfilling the planet and dooming us all to eternal suffering of being unable to die I guess I would have to fufil his role in his place. Thus I take his sythe and start killing people. This also improves my chances of living if he escapes.
