Umm...

FDR. Not because I don't like him, but just to see what would happen.
You, right before you kill FDR, nothing personal, but FDR is my favorite president so I can 't let you kill him, sorry.

I simply wouldn't go back in time. Or better yet, I would kill the operator of the time machine so as to get an infinite amount of time-travel time.

First thing I thought of was "everyone is gunna say Hitler..." and you beat me too it :)

Nice thread, but I already did this. I killed HEath Ledger and made it look like an overdose...

On a serious note, I guess it would be Caligula
No. He's history's biggest joke. Let's not get rid of him.

OT: George Lucas before he could have produced the prequel trilogy.

Cookie for reference.

Thomas Edison. Then the world would have gone with Tesla instead.
Tesla was fucking awesome!

OT: Whoever didn't admit Hitler to art school. Then I would take his place and let him into the school, and thus (most likely) prevent WWII.

Course, it would be easier to just kill Hitler, but I've always been curious as to what kind of paintings he could have done if he had been accepted to art school and hadn't gone batshit psycho.
Probably would've happened anyway regardless of Hitler.

Maybe Abraham. Which results in no Judaism, Christianity or Islam.

Alternatively, JFK. He already got assassinated, so I wouldn't screw up the space time thingy if I did that.

It depends how much I feel like playing with the rules of the universe on the day.
I don't suppose there's an option where I can go back and not kill someone?
IT WAS YOU ON THE GRASSY KNOLL!

*rabble rabble rabble*

Also, whoever thought that prairie oysters were a good idea. Or the guy responsible for all the Elmo dolls.

Gabe Newell.
Because then maybe Robin Walker would be put in charge of every Valve game, not just TF2. There'd be hats in Counterstrike, hats in Left 4 Dead, maybe even Half-Life hats.
One can dream...

Bismark pre-political career. Seriously, you off Bismark and the 20th century becomes completely different. No WWI (or at least a significantly different WWI), so no WWII (as there is no reson for enmity between Germany and the Allies). There is likely a war between Russian and Austria but things go poorly for both sides and either a peace treaty is signed or the Bolsheviks off the government. Needless to say, things are rather drastically changed and there are probably several million more people around.

Some random German solider in WWII, since I kinda like the world the way it is, and am scared to live in any kind of world but this one.
