If you was to Pick one console and One console only as your all time Favorite which would it be?

id say Sony PlayStation 1, but almost topped by the Sega Master System

So many good memories with the PlayStation 1, All nighters with Tekken 2, Racing till ya dropped on Gran Turismo, Surviving the Zombies in Resident evil... ahh memories xD

Edit: Seems some people seem to be confused what a Console is, Its not something that needs Windows / Linux or Mac OS. also Emulation doesn't count when claiming PC

SNES its sheer number of good games and my love of 16 bit graphics are enough for it its place as my favorite.

Seriously though I'm not sure, I haven't had enough experience with the PS3 or Wii to decide. As for old consoles it would either be the N64 or the SNES.

Well the number one would be the PC - but I suppose that is more of a platform than a console, and it is more of a concept than a single design because of the effing technology curve.

To be honest, the Playstation 2. My first ever console and the biggest selling one ever. (Though the Wii is catching up)

Growing up as a Nintendo fan, I should choose them, but after Kouen bought that PS2, I must say that's my favourite. I wish I had bought PS1 back in the days and followed that line instead.
All though, I must admit that I loved my old NES, N64 and Gamecube LOL.

Ps2, mainly because in my view its game library also includes the ps1 library.
Sony dropping the ability to play older playstation games on the ps3 killed my interested in it forever.

While I did have good times on my beloved megadrive and super nintendo (also mah master system <3 ), playstation was what made gaming "cool" and trendy, ps2 not quite having same effect but its library of games was just as varied and awesome.

If I'm honest? SNES. I am practically addicted to it. However, the Playstation 2 has Timesplitters. And that is really, really good.

Could I still play original Xbox Games if I choose the Xbox 360?

You can play an extremely limited library of classic games, such as Barbie Horse Adventures, and Zapper.

Not Timesplitters.

Im tempted to say the Wii, just so I could have most of the delicious SNES and N64 games.

Honestly, its a throw between the N64, SNES.

The N64, thats easy. Its the N64. Mario, Golden Eye, Perfect Dark, MORE Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros Pokemon. Cmon.

Same can be said about the SNES. Its the freakin SNES, the library is amazing.

I would give some thought to my 360. Dont get me wrong; I LOVE the 360. It just lacks the classics that Nintendo has.
