Even without the plethora of mods available for the game, the basic game itself is more than enough to keep someone entertained for months at a time. Then when you add in the mods as well as the multiplayer, you've got the ultimate strategy game. One that could remaining entertaining for year after year so long as you paced yourself and kept trying new things.

Waddayaknow, I'm not alone in my opinion. Have you ever tried the mod CarterEarth? It's pretty peachy. A new map size (Planetary, transl. "Huge Ass"), a new game speed (Odyssey, which is basically Marathon except you get to build faster and do more) and a fairly realistic and well-done scenario/map of Earth. Heroes of Newerth, I've played that game every day for the past year and haven't gotten tired of it yet.
I dont blame you, every time I get a new computer (cause i accedently destroy the last one) I find myself re-installing this game and playing it, it has alot of variety and even the custom level editor makes lazy people from me just download other peoples amazing trigger fueled great levelsburntheartist said:
