TF2 sounds good, but I think Left 4 Dead will have to be it, assuming you can find teammates who know what they are doing.. which seems to be getting more and more uncommon.

FFXII. It's so...huge. I think I'd need half a forever just to get 100% completion. But seriously, I spent all last summer playing it, and I still haven't beaten it.

Because I'd never want to play a 'game' forever, the most logical choice would be Second-Life.

BF1942. I've got about 80GB of mods for it installed right now, and there are probably a couple terrabytes more of the good/decent mods I could still grab. Heck, Eve of Destruction, Battlegroup 42, Forgotten Honor, Battlefield 1918 are all still active too.

Definitely BF1942. Or Morrowind.
