Between a game with

1)Bad gameplay,good graphics/story
2)Bad Graphics,good Story/gameplay
3)Bad Story,good Gameplay/Graphics

Which one would you choose?

Me i would choose the 3 because i don't care too much for the story in a game

I've made this clear before; option 2. Bad graphics but with good story and gameplay

Graphics mean almost nothing to me to be honest. Some of my favourite games have wretched graphics for their time, or at least, subpar.

Take, for example, my personal favourite game of last year; Nier. Everyone hated those graphics yet it didn't bother me at all.

Number 2.

My laptop can't handle all these fancy graphics anyway.

I'd go with 3.
In my experience, the games with stories over anything else have the worst replay value. It's like reading a book; As soon as I finish a book, the first thing I do isn't read it again.

And, I'll admit, I'm a sucker for good graphics. Probably why I like Final Fantasy XIII so much.

Definitely option number 2. If a game has a compelling story and good gameplay, graphics are irrelevant. Today's "good graphics" are tomorrow's "bad graphics" anyway.

#2, easily. I grew up on the NES, so graphics have never held that much weight in my game choice (well, certain games with truly atrocious graphics will turn me off).

#3 could possibly work if I'm playing, say, a puzzle game, and the mechanic is genuinely engaging. Ilomilo is like this, for me at least.

Probably 3. The gameplay is obviously the most important part of a game, and I like my things to be pretty. If a game plays and looks good enough, I won't even pay attention to the story.

Number 2

But, if possible, I would take option 4; bad gamplay/graphics if it made good story an amazing story.

Morrowind has proven, once and for all, that when you have proper graphics, and a rich and immersive enough world, with lots of engaging stories, that whole gameplay business is entirely optional.

Depends on the genre. Story isn't so important in FPS, but is essential in RPGs, for example.

3. Adequate or very little graphics are good enough, doesn't need to top of the line, but if a game just has plain bad presentation then I'm not sure I would enjoy it as much while I can skip past the story in a game.

I am going to have to go with 2 also. I usually end up turning down graphics because I multitask too much and prefer to leave a few things open in the background when I am playing.

What kind of genre are we talking about here? I doubt anyone will choose number 1 because no one wants a non-functioning game.

Number 2 obviously. Good graphics is a bonus but I don't need them to enjoy a game. The only time it becomes an issue is when the graphics are so bad that they make the game more difficult to play.
