But I have a question.

Let's say that there are two portal guns. In a cubic room, Gun 1 is used to create a portal precisely in the middle of one wall. It creates a portal precisely in the middle of the wall opposite the first. Gun 2 shoots a portal through Gun 1's portal. What happens?

Even if you could shoot yourself with a portal gun nothing would happen, you'd just have a portal on you.

If you went through the other portal in the room it'd look like you're climbing out of your chest

You know, you can't fire portals onto everything, only special walls. Which is why I don't bother thinking too much about this.

Indeed, the portal gun won't fire on everything and that's a releif because it would cause all kinds of headaches.
