Powerful attacks. Multiple targets. Powerful defenses, but slow. It'll be a marathon battle. Saving grace? Pre-determined attack cycle, just like Omega Weapon from Final Fantasy VIII. I'm picturing...An artillery barrage. Or a wall of lead. Or,just maybe,a zweihander wielding monstrosity.

I would be an RTS boss that gets to control all the factions of the game, think the Chinese chick from Generals: Zero Hour. Mucking around with units and creating op combinations in games that let you use mind control is so fun.

Conrad Marburg from Alpha Protocol.

A suit-wearing badass who realises his employers are stark raving mad, but goes along with it to make money and laugh.

My kinda man.

(P.S. He wears gloves. At all times. This makes him like Agent 47. Your argument is invalid)

I would be that near end human sized boss that hits hard and stunlocks you. the only way to beat me is to use the counter and dodge moves you never used until now and will never use again.

Defiantly this. Something along the lines of a lone master warrior. I would have loads of attack pattens using all kinds of weapons. And shoot lazor beams. And have a zapdos. Just because.

Mysterio from Spiderman 2. Anyone who says otherwise is lying :p
He was truly a terror.

I would like to be one of those JRPG bad guy fellows who join the good guys after being defeated and then becomes a member of the party. I'm on the side that wins.

I'd be a JRPG-style boss and have 2 forms. My first form would be piss easy to defeat, but then I'd transform into my second form and come down on you like a brick through a stain glass window.

This. I'd fight for the gamer's sanity, but die because of an infinite-ammo pistol.

I'd be one of those bosses that stupidly runs at the player, who then dodges him and punches him in the back of the head.

Those bosses are fun :D

Typical human-sized-katana-wielding-speedy-boss, sorta like Virgil from DMC. I'd have these cheesy lines about the bigger picture or some megalomaniacal plan: "Don't you see!", "You have never understood the greater good" or "Your death will finalize my plan!" Maybe even a former friend of the protagonist turned evil.

I'd have many different attacks, but all with a fairly straightforward pattern. No real weakspot though. Maybe even toss in some duplicating/teleportation ability.

I would be in an action rpg. I would taunt the hero throughout the game only to leave when he gets close, maybe even beat him down a couple of times but not finish him because he is beneath me. I would be the same class as the hero so they would have to basically master their class in order to beat me.

Now, how about you?
I would be an optional classic DnD Demi-Lich that is silly overpowered with immunities and resistances while providing your victory with a just as silly overpowered item that makes the remainder of the game a cakewalk for Mages and Sorcerers alike.

You would probably find me in Baldurs Gate: Enhanced Edition, taking a beer with Kangaxx when not killing adventurers.

My attacks would consist of Imprisonment, Time Stop, Raise Dead and a save-or-die spell along with Melf's Minute Meteors.

I'd be a training boss - one you'd fight to end the tutorial. Haven't decided if I'd be an enemy, or a friend running the protagonist through the basics, though.

No specific weak spots. Just hit buttons, you can't lose. And even if you do, the plot goes on anyway, since you're in the tutorial.

Probably a turn based JRPG. Perhaps one of those squad games like Tactics Ogre.

Quirks? Horribly cheesy dub. Maybe I'd even speak in faux old-english.

Nah just joking. If I had to choose. I would be a villain that you fight so hard to get to to defeat, only to find out our goals were similar and our enemy was one in the same i.e Magnus in Chrono Trigger.

Then later on in the game since I realize the protagonist and his companions want the same thing, grudgingly join them ONLY because I need a few more meat shields :D

I'd be a boss for an action game. Extremely quick and using daggers, throwing knives and smoke / flash bombs.

My strength would lie in my speed and maneuverability so that I could get close to the player and unleash a flurry of attacks while dodging any counter attacks. If an opponent tried to keep me at range I would unleash volleys of poisoned daggers to stun / cripple them as I close the distance.

At about half health I would then throw a handful of smokebombs covering the arena in a shroud of dense, grey smoke. Causing visibility issues for the player. It is then that my strategy would change and I would use my stealth to launch opportune attacks and flashbombs to temporarily blind my opponent so I could retreat back into the smoke. Sometimes launching volleys of daggers from the fringes of player vision just to disappear again as they attempt to dodge the attack.

At 15-20% life the smoke shroud would lift and I would get an adrenaline rush, increasing my speed immensely. I would follow the same attacks as my first stage but slightly more reckless and erratic.

As the swing that would finish me is launched I'd parry with a dagger and launch a final flashbomb to cover my retreat. On the ground after the battle the character would find the same daggers I was using, which upon equipping would bestow them with the same speed I had fought with.

My weaknesses would be my vulnerability to physical effects, such as slowing my speed down. It would severely hamper my combat style though I would become more resistant to it if repeated uses were attempted. Also I would be wearing a lighter more flexible armour, meaning strikes that connected would connect with near the full force that was intended. The final nail in my inevitable coffin would be my mediocre health pool. Not terrible, but not too great either.

I'd be the second to last boss that evens the playing field. You use all your lasers and missiles to try and take me down, and I just whittle down all your ammo and armor until it's just you and me in the fire and mud trying to kill each other with bare hands and chunks of debris.
My weakness? Why should I bother to tell you (that it's my knees)?

You discovered my weakness! I've got to say you're probably the only one able to take down the final boss. Here's my key, now GIVE 'EM HELL!

I would be the boss in an RPG that takes advantage of the fighting system and forces you to change your strategy in every turn, like those bosses that are weak to an element but absorbs all the others; or cast weird debuffs that make healing magic hurtful or characters go berserk...

I think I'd like to be the childhood-friend-slash-rival-turned-temporary-enemy boss from a JRPG. So I'd be guaranteed not to die post-boss fight. Instead, I'd join up with the main character's party after giving main character an affectionate speech on how much he/she has improved.

My quirks? As a female JRPG character, I'd pretty much be forced into a skimpy outfit to show off massive amounts of cleavage. My fighting style would probably be more magic-reliant than physical-attack reliant, though with some of both, since I almost always play the "Magic Knight" archetype in a video game. Judging by the aforementioned friendly rivalry dynamic, if the main character was male, I'd probably also be his unlucky childhood friend. ...Yeah, I know my JRPG stereotypes.
