My strategy would be causing a fatal error and crashing the console. I'm pretty sure that would make it an impossible fight.
I would be the first boss. The one that turns good, and helps out the character at the end.

I'd be a usual man (or whoever setting demands me to be) piloting a huge gunship. Only way to defeat me would be to complete a platforming section and reach minigun turret. When things go south, i'd fly away or eject and land out of player's reach.
And in the finale, as protagonist gets thrown around by the final boss despite the player's best efforts, i'd walk up to said final boss and shoot him in the back of a head because he did not pay my salary. That'll teach that bastard a lesson about treating his employees poorly.

Well, i can't beat Shru1kin's idea, but i can strap 14 tactical nukes to my chest and run up and try and give the protaganist a "big hug"
I'd insert my boss code into console, eneable sv_cheats 1, set "Maximum boss HP to, 999999999999999999" then set, "Protaganist HP to 1"
Then give my self a AOE with infinite distance, and does 99999 dammage. From which I use the NANOSECOND the round starts.

I just saw my roommate fight a betraying party member in Dragon Age. For some reason I feel like I'd be that boss fight. Hopefully the party member they think is awesome and has been using and will have trouble getting along without who suddenly turns evil and leaves them hung out to dry.
I'd need to find a really good concealer to hide my big glowy weak spot. My attacks would consist of sarcastic barbs and cruel insults, designed to make the protagonist doubt their worth as a game hero. The end result would be either the player running off crying, or perhaps a rapid decent into a pit of suicidal despair.
Some lazy guy that doesnt do anything. He doesnt really care about the main story and before the protagonist defeats him there is a cutscene where he asks the protagonist what the fuck he is doing. The protagonist realizes he was being a dick and forgoes some cash and buys him a drink.

I would be a vacuum; the main character would open the door (which seals behind them) and then they would die! muhahhahaa.
In addition, just in case they have a space suit, I would have some ion storm thing going on, to short out and blow holes into said suit.

I'd be the kind of boss that shows up in an unwinnable battle midway through the game, giving the hero and his ragtag band of misfits a major "oh shit, we're doomed" moment after a Curb Stomp Battle, then I'd be the Big Bad and the final battle would be one of those two-hour JRPG Specials that are a good-sized chunk of what I hate about JRPGs.
I would be the final boss that takes a single hit to kill, as I am just a man out to succeed in my devilish goals.
