Another one of these, eh?

Well, if I had the power of the protagonist, I'd choose Saint's Row 2, hands down. All day, everyday, I could literally do whatever the fuck I wanted to. I would have a small army under my command, and I'd be a rich, immortal one-man army myself.

But if I was just myself living in the game, I'd choose Pokemon. Being a trainer doesn't require anything other than the desire to be a trainer. And there's almost nothing else to do. So I would have a wonderful adventure with my Pokemon companions, not a care in the world.
Not only that but you also get paid for committing acts of animal abuse by caging wild creatures and forcing them to fight for your entertainment... what more could you want?

Any game? Any game at all?

Hmmm .... has to be Recettear (I want my item shop and wear a cute pinafore-apron thingy damnit!) whereby I get to 'help' by charging would be heroes money to help explore the world and defeat deadly creatures. That is me in a nutshell #.#

That being said, given the parameters extend beyond videogames I'm going to have to go with Planescape setting but with 3.5 rules and fucking pwn as a druid with my awakened-wolf-druid army with 49D6 (noti ncluding my own) flamestrikes destroying every single tool foolish enough to stand in my way.

No idea probably an H-Game, lots of sex and little chance of random threats to all life as we know it.

Doom would work. Slaying demons with chainsaws for the rest of my life, laughing as they fall by the hundreds, seems pretty cool to me.

Pokemon

I could use a flying Pokemon to take me around the world.

The worst thing to happen in that world is there's a gang of people who steal Pokemon. Not murder, not war... but stealing.

World of Warcraft. I would live with the trolls in the Hinterlands and practice da sacred mojo arts. Wouldn't mind Mass Effects world either, but it seems I'm not the only one.

Pokemon.

Because it's so damn harmless. If even the most awful gangs in the country can be conquered by a ten-year-old and his or her pets, then it's gotta be pretty damn safe.

I'm too spoiled to cope with post-apocalyptic wastelands or battling alien empires. I want to live in the world where I can just kick back in front of Lake Valor and watch Magikarps uselessly flail about, or play the Pokemon slots, or just show off my god-beasts at a contest.
I'd have to go with this. I have to face the fact that I'd be pretty useless in pretty much any other game world and would probably die really quickly. ...unless one of the side effects of being sucked in included taking on the physical characteristics of the main protagonist.

Pokemon or Final Fantasy X (I figure sin gets destroyed, and seeing as the sphere grid means anyone can learn any ability, I'd imagine I could also learn these abilities, and when you die, I assume if you wanted to, yet weren't filled with rage or anything, you could remain on earth as a ghost-thing (which apparently isn't that bad seeing as Auron was basically a physical being the whole time).

Sadly enough, it would be the action devoid world of Transport Tycoon.

A world where everything is isometrically oriented and I can build a network of trucks, trains, planes and boats to fund my massive empire of evil. Once I amass my fortune I would spend my days currying the favor of local towns so I can demolish their roads and send my competitors vehicles and trains in endless loops or potentially crashing into each other, thus securing myself as transport dictator, if you will, of my own isometric island in the middle of nothingness.

Ivalice, more specifically during Final Fantasy XII. Though I wouldn't mind Final Fantasy Tactics' version, if I didn't have to deal with all the poverty, backstabbing, and manipulations of the period.

What game would it be if you had a choice of which game
I need clarification. would this be "you" transported, regular old jerkoff you, live just like the normal people in the game. Or, would you be like a main character? Or would you be suddenly transported into the game world from this one and be some sort of phenomenon.

world of warcraft... shut up if you find nothing entertaining about flying on a drake or weilding a glowing bow or sword, not to mention cataclysm spitting lava all over azeroth, standards must be re-assessed.
Wouldn't being whacked with a sword, or being smacked in the face with fire be a bit to painful to bear?

OT: Fallout 3//New Vegas, I think because I could do well in that end of world type thing.

I'm going to be a sheep and Say Mass Effect. Seriously, it would be awesome...and if I'm lucky i can finally fulfill my dreams; Buy a ship, gather a crew of random people and form my own mercenary group...you know, like in firefly. Unless ofcourse i get stuck as the first shepard i made (My main shepard, although all three of them are badasses in their own right), but then i'd just be trying to save humanity instead. Basically it's a win-win scenario.

Video game would be Mass Effect: it's the only world where I could feel like I was doing something meaningful. In Azeroth you're just another mook, even at 85 or whatever the cap is these days, barely above the city guards.

Tabletop would be Eberron, it's just badass.

Either Super Robot Wars or Dungeons and Dragons.

I don't need to explain why fighting with robots would be all kinds of awesome, and I could always be a healer in D&D.

Custer's Revenge!

No, seriously, Mass Effect, especially if I could be a biotic. And I would try to pick up Asari in bars. In the end, I would probably die to an Ardat-Yakshi. :p
