Ok, after some sippings of Whisky and Wine and some downloading of Tom Waits' Mule Variations, friend of mine stop the conversation and asks this:

"If you were to listen to one Musician/ Artist for the rest of you life, who would it be??"

So this means being stranded on a desert island with every piece of work the chosen artist has made, evn if you don't own them at the time (they would magially appear).

The same question isow fired at you, Internet.

Mine would be Johnny Cash, at the moment (those last 3 America albums...ju- just golden). I need to hear a bit more of Waits before he gets up on the league table.

...He said Rolling Stones.

Vivaldi. Classical is the music of the soul. Though I'd go insane rather quickly if I'm perfectly honest.

Devin Townsend.
He's got such diversity in his music that I could listen to just him forever and never get bored.

Devin Townsend. No question.
He can go from the most extreme and chaotic metal you'll ever hear to the most beautiful ambient/new age album seamlessly. I could listen to only him forever and not get bored of it.

And wow... ninja'd to that? Really? Didn't think that would happen. >.>

Maynard James Keenan no question, he's been in quite a lot of stuff besides Tool. So gives me quite a variety.

Overkill.
Thrash metal in it's perfection. In spite of having played for over 30 years they just keep getting better and better... Love that band so much!

I'm really unsure, possibly Ulver, Mike Pattons work, or maybe the Flaming Lips.

That be a pretty damn horrible situation though.

Tchaikovsky

His writing is almost poetic and his music inspires me to dance and to destroy. Utterly exquisite in so many ways. To me he's the best of classical music and while I would get bored and mad after sometime, I would love ever second of it

Blink 182, when I'm feeling a little crazy or happy I'll listen to their older stuff and if I need to chill out I'll throw on some of their newer stuff.

Sublime. lovely Ska reggie with a punk thrash twist that only pops its head out now and then that keep the music fresh. excellent vocals and lyrics. chills me out every day.
