I would want to have an RPG I've never played. Either that or 7th Saga (SNES). Preferably something where you have to choose your character at the beginning of the game and where each selectable character has vastly different stats and play style.

Oblivion/Fallout and the construction set possibly the only way I could remain sane for a few years.
Dude, no offense, but you wouldn't be sane after a few years of playing those alone in a dark room. Though you would probably be one hell of a modder so not all is lost.

However I think he said that you were only trapped for a few months, therefore I would probably say Morrowind or Fallout 3, as I have already dedicated several months to Oblivion.

Oblivion, with the construction set.

Its sort of cheating, because the game has so much in it, so many different ways to play it...and its so easy to add your own content.

If I had access to internet...I would definitely choose starcraft.
But since I don't, it would have to be a very grindy game, of the turn-based strategy genre. Perhaps Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics, X-Com: UFO Defense or Tactics Ogre.
Or if I had a compilation of all the Fire Emblem Games.

I would have to say Empire: Total War since you can play it so many different ways, and it lasts long enough anyway.

It'd be a really tough choice... my three choices would be...

1) Pokemon Platinum
2) Super Smash Bros Brawl
3) Animal Crossing: City Folk

All three have some longevity.

PSh, I'm cheating and going with the zelda collectors edition that came with Wind waker. It has all of the original zelda games up to major's mask!

But if I couldent break the system, it would need to have combat that was not turn based so I could actually have some action....it would need to be REALLY FUCKING LONG...probably Final Fantasy 12 because I would actually have time to do the chaining - I was able to put like 130 hours in on that game in my first go...other than that I'd say Oblivion PROVIDED that I had the construction set and the expantion packs.

An RTS or city builder. Something that changes every time you play it. Starcraft would be a good option, or maybe Sim City.

I would have a game that is actually just a container of wall destroying acid, because it would destroy the wall and I would be able to leave and take the consoles with me.
