Is it sad that I already have all the old consoles and games I want? I can't throw anything away, hence the original snes and all my games.

Having owned all of those ones listed I would say the Dreamcast without a shadow of a doubt. The VM memory units were a stroke of genius, it has online play (or should I say "had" as I don't think you'll find too many people online) and a library of brilliant games. It's also very small.
If Sega hadn't have burnt so many people with the 32x and Saturn I reckon this console would have really kicked on.

If i can remember all of the games that i'd want with each of the consoles, i'd go with the SNES. Mainly 'cause they were enjoyable, or so i've heard, the first console i had was the PSX, but some of my foreign friends still have the Nintendo64 and SNES.

SNES, definitely. I never owned one, but I went over to my neighbor's house constantly just so I could play on their son's system. The countless hours spent playing such classics as Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, and Star Fox made for some of my best gaming memories.

I'm with the majority. Snes for the win. I'm bidding for one on ebay right now, actually. I was more a megadrive kid so I feel I owe it to myself to check out what's probably the best console ever made...

I bought a second hand SNES with DKC, Mario Allstars and Super Star Wars for my 6 year old nephew because I thought he should be exposed to some "classic" gaming and he can't stand the thing. After playing an Xbox for a year prior, the simpler type of gaming is just "boring" according to him. I was gobsmacked.

Mind you I found going back to them that some of the gloss had worn off. It's not that the games have gotten any worse with time, I think it's just more an increase in expectations; which in a way is sad. I sometimes miss the days when three/four buttons and d-pad was enough. That said, every couple of months I blow the dust off the old Megadrive and my brother and I drink beer and enjoy a Streets Of Rage marathon on Mania. Awesome!

Probably dreamcast. There were just an astounding number of great games in its short time here on earth.

well, i got a dreamcast, and still pop it in every once in a while to play Grandia 2 and tony hawk pro skater 2, but i definately miss having a snes. I always sold my system when i upgraded and i slightly regret it now, seeing as i can't have unlimited access to super mariokart, starfox, legend of zelda: a link to the past (best zelda game ever IMO), and so many other games that the snes was famous for (excellent game library)

A genesis, and a SNES. I have a Mega Drive, but it's back in Sweden. I'm in the US, so I'd need to get an american genesis to buy games here.

For the SNES, well...self-explanatory.
