(Dexter was a cat, on Earth, owned by a woman in some big city (Star City, Coast City, Metropolis, Gotham?) One day, a man broke into the woman's apartment and killed her. The cat was then taken by some teenagers, stuffed in a bag, and thrown off a bridge. His rage attracted a red ring that bonded itself to him. There were no survivors. Dexter is good kitty.

@M98: Brook is already in Halloween mode and has been for almost a year now. I'm not changing from this avatar unless I get a new Brook one. I love him as a character, especially his new redesign.
