Would empty my handy pokeball rapid fire machine gun (handily kept at bedside table) before being so dreched by Water Gun soo much that I eventualy pass out and need to be taken to hospital to be revived by a suspicious looking machine solely operated by some 12 or more twin sisters.

You all obviously don't know what you can accomplish after years of sword training. Any sword can become as lethal as any other in it's own way, with proper training, and any sword can surpass another.
